Dr Lillian Lyons is very competent, friendly and caring. The office atmosphere reflects good vibes of congeniality. Kim does a thorough job of cleaning my teeth and explaining the importance of good hygiene. I strongly recommend Dr Lyons and her staff.

I visited Dental Specialists and Implant Center at the Woodlands in July and Dr. Lyons worked on my implants and on my gums. This is a great office. I love her and Kim, the Dental hygienist.

I would not recommend this place. No matter how good the medical team might be, we should not be getting surprise billing if we provide all information required up front. I specifically mentioned I was trying to get everything done un one appointment if possible to which billing confirmed it was ok. Once at the office today, the hygienist mentioned the session would be for partial treatment and that it would take two visits. I immediately mentioned this is not what I asked for and they notified billing but told me they could start the procedure while they checked if the service could be provided in the same visit- at this time no mention of additional cost at all. Halfway through, billing walks in the room and says they can do the full treatment but the balance would be twice as much. Why would I not get the full picture from my initial visit if I consistently asked to have everything done. I reiterated this when I arrived and then I get this news while sitting on the chair already. As upset as I was I tried to compromise and see what I could pay cash to leave my insurance out so I could get the treatment done elsewhere. Mind you I had them stop the procedure immediately and they said they would still bill my insurance and that means I would not be able to get it completed elsewhere. No dentist will finish something already started elsewhere! I walked out and I'm waiting for a call from the doctor to see if she is a bit more reasonable considering this was their mistake. I would not recommend this place. No matter how good the medical team might be, we should not be getting surprise billing if we provide all information required up front.

I loved Dr. Lyons. She was thorough, friendly, professional, and made sure I was comfortable through the whole procedure. She even followed up with me over the weekend. While the doctor was outstanding, the office gets 3 stars because the front office personnel are rude. They say they have been trying to reach me (they called my phone and I answered right away, so they didn't try very hard), and they are angry over billing issues with my insurance. I have discussed with my insurance company, and they said the charges weren't billed correctly. When I called and told the front office this, they told me I would have to either work with my insurance company myself, or just pay the balance. So I would say if you're paying cash, you should have no issues. But if you're paying insurance, be ready for contact issues and rudeness from the front office when they make billing mistakes (medical billing is complicated so I understand mistakes, just not rudeness).

I had a very bad experience with another dental office that I was hoping this was the right place when I first came in, and IT WAS!! Everyone is very friendly and nice Dr Lillian herself makes you feel so comfortable when she's treating you she explains all the procedure and what she's going to be doing in all a Great Experience I highly recommend them.

My husband had some serious issues, one being a serious infected tooth that had been a root canal. He said no pain during or after two procedures to fix area. He loves Dr Lyon. I like them too. Kim is to die for, staff he really awesome.
