Dr. Peter A. Garchow graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1981 and studied dentistry at the University of Michigan, earning his dental degree in 1985. He maintains memberships at the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Garchow is actively involved with charity groups as well as many volunteer groups in the community, enthusiastically supports sports teams and is an active member of his church. During his spare time, he is kept busy with his wife and four children, as well as with outdoor activities such as fishing and golfing.
Dr. Jeneen grew up in Rockford, Michigan and is a graduate of Rockford High School. She attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor prior to entering dental school. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy, where she was active in the American Student Dental Associations outreach board and volunteered with St. Vincent de Paul Detroit Dental Clinic and Malta Medical Mission.
Dr. Jeneen practiced in Bangor, Maine prior to returning home to Michigan. She and her fianc Patrick are looking forward to being married next fall and settling in to the West Michigan area. In her spare time, Jeneen enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and movies.

There are lots and lots of dentists in the area, so I'm glad I found my way to Dr. Garchow and Dr. Jeneen's office. I'm convinced there isn't a single question or issue the folks there can't handle quickly and thoroughly. My family and I have received the best care at every visit and we can't recommend them enough!

I love this place. I had a fear of the dentist for so many years but this place made me feel no judgment, super gentle, they believe me when I say I'm not numb and are just great all around. I actually look forward to my appointments now! I never would have said that before.

I am 58yrs old and have been a patient at Dental South since I was 21! I have ALWAYS gotten great results with any & all services I have received! NEVER have I had a failed Root Canal nor have any of my many crowns fallen out.... I have heard contrary stories from other friends and I ALWAYS recommend they go to Dental South!! ********

very good at reminding with emails and text messages when your appointment is coming up. very clear on all new policies with wearing masks and waiting room information prior to appointment

All staff explained everything very well to me. Hygienists were friendly, funny, and professional at the same time. Made me feel comfortable even though going to the dentist is nerve-racking for me. Dr. Garchow was very pleasant and took his time listening to me. I did not feel rushed or insignificant in his office. -- Thank you.

I am a new patient at Dental South and today was my first visit. Everyone I met was very friendly and professional. I was very impressed and thankful that they were able to work me in with relatively short notice as well. Very happy with my experience here.

I haven't been to the dentist in quite some time and I can honestly say it's not my favorite, but the staff made me feel 100% comfortable during my exam and kept me up to speed on the little things during a procedure. I highly recommend this dental office!

Went in to get help with a tooth issue, was quickly taken care of. Had the inspection done and then got the issue solved in the same visit. Would recommend to anyone who needed or was looking for a dentist.

Over the course of my (young) lifetime, I have seen multiple dentists. Dr. Garchow is the best dentist I have had, hands down. When I lived in Sparta and Rockford, I would gladly make the trip to Wyoming for Dr. Garchow. He and his staff are friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and experienced. If anyone in the Grand Rapids area is looking for a dentist they can trust, visit Dental South.
