Tried a few dentists in Philadelphia and they were nightmares (never go to Emergency Dental on Walnut). Dr. Seo Is by far the best - kind, friendly and warm. They will never over charge you and always work with your insurance. Highly recommend Dr. Seo And his team!

Unhappy with service I should have received. First visit went fine; exrays and consultation. Told to get forms filled out from cardiologist about the blood thinner I'm on. Had forms faxed to dental office and made new appointment. Upon arrival for this appointment I was told it was never made. Next appointment the same thing happened I was told no appointment and that my release forms were not all there, and to get new forms. Doctor said he saw them and receptionist tried to explain there is a problem with the computer system. Needless to say I sat in the office for over two hours before I was told I would not be receiving any service. I needed wisdom teeth extraction. Incompetent and unprofessional at the least.

Simply Horrible front desk , they put me on hold for half hour , then then left the office ...I will change to a better provider.

Listen to your gut people! I scheduled a cleaning online here for mid Feb of this year. When I got to the office, they asked what I was there for. A routine check up and a cleaning... they said that's not possible, we don't have anyone to do cleanings right now (they may have hired a cleaner since, who knows). Only the dr was able to do cleanings and he was booked out for months. So I say okay, still need to get my teeth checked anyway to make sure nothing is wrong. We do my x-rays and they tell me I have 8 cavities! I've never had a cavity before in my life. The dr uses all of this technical jargon to try and scare me, terms I had no way of knowing and that he didn't explain. I knew this couldn't be right so I just smiled and paid my copay, agreeing to call and make an appointment later for the cavities. Obviously, I did not do that. I shelled out a ton of cash to go to my old dentist just to see what they say. I brought my paperwork from my visit at this place just so I didn't get anything wrong. They were absolutely stunned with the teeth he identified as issues. They said that even if they were being beyond careful and had no prior knowledge of my teeth, the recommendations he made were extreme, and that I had no cavities. Just to make sure, I waited until I found another dentist in the city before I made a judgement on this place. It was possible my old dr was biased as he had known me my whole life. New place confirms that the "problem areas" identified were not even remotely as bad as he claimed. Marking it down as a scam at this point, if two other dentists can confirm that I did not even have a semblance of cavities. I don't want a response to this review from the office, there is no way to make amends after you attempted to rip me off. This is just a warning to other people about this place.

Misrepresentations made. My insurance went through the trouble of expediting paperwork so I could get my appointment when I needed it, based on their confirmation that x-ray and cleaning can be done during the same visit for new patients. I confirmed that over the phone and also put the same info when I scheduled an appointment online. When I showed up, I was told that I have to come back another day for cleaning (1 month later) and they blamed corporate for making that false representation. Additionally, they told me they would put me in a separate room for x-ray and cleaning for COVID precautions but that wasn't the case, either, and staff walked into the office in the morning without even wearing a mask. I was terrified to be sitting there during treatment. UPDATE: I'd like to respond to the practice's response below. I shared with the dentist, hygienist, and receptionist that misrepresentations had been made and asked them to address the issue by scheduling accommodation. They flatly declined. So please don't tell me you would like to address my concern. It's too late.

I just wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to the hygienist (Sarah) at Dental Solutions on 13th Street. I recently had a periodontal maintenance procedure done by Sarah and was beyond happy with her treatment of me. She was warm, friendly and reassuring throughout the procedure. In fact, in all my years of going to a hygienist for a cleaning, I've never received such outstanding service, as with Sarah. And I could tell she was a perfectionist because she was so meticulous in everything she did. And what was exceptional, were the really great tips she gave me on how to care for my teeth between visits, which I found extremely helpful. I was so happy with my treatment, I immediately booked another appointment in three months. Thank you, Sarah, for making my cleaning appointment the best I've ever had. Cheers to you!

Had to go 4 times in a one month span because the dentist messed up my fillings, and then didn't cap all my fillings after I'd complained of pain. Had to return multiple times for caps. Also felt condescended to since the dentist said "we usually only do caps for children". Then had my personal data potentially accessed during a data breach. Sadly, my prior cleanings were good, but that was with the previous dentist, who's no longer there. Wish I could recommend, but I will not be returning.

I thought I had finally found a good dentist, but I came to get one tooth extracted, afterwards I found out that the one next to it was broken off, nobody said anything; then I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic prescribed causing me to experience severe diarrhea. I'm still hanging in there, I really want my teeth fixed. The thing that made me think things weren't going right was the dentist that started the root canal couldn't finish the job, so they switched me to another dentist that wasn't gentle, I really liked the one that started the root canal, two thumbs up! I thought my appointments were scheduled on Tuesdays, for no reason at all they gave me a Saturday appointment, with this other dentist I got lock jaw, I'm done.

I love the staff at this location! I had a dental emergency last night at midnight and was very worried I wouldn't be able to be seen quickly, but Rosemary (office manager) worked her magic and got me in with Dr. Lewis right away! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and they never make you feel rushed or ashamed of anything. Very relaxing environment. The office always has the best music playing, too. Highly recommend for your next dental adventure!

This place is so unprofessional. I had to fight with them because they billed me incorrectly. After going back and forth with them for weeks, they finally acknowledged it and then would not take accountability after talking to me like I hadn't a clue what I was saying. After that, they canceled my appointment back in November because they no longer had a dental hygienist working. They told me to "call back in January to check" via text message. Their billing practices are suspect, as well. My partner also goes here. She set up a payment plan in person at the office. Now she is being billed extra penalties because she has been paying the decided upon plan that was never set up. Now they are not honoring the plan and will not rescind the charges. Not worth the stress.

This place used to be really good, and still might be, but after my last visit I decided to stop going. I had a gut feeling that something was off and that they were trying to up-sell me dental work I didn't necessarily need. I went somewhere else and got a second opinion, and I'm really glad I did. "A couple of weaker areas we should monitor with regular visits" made a lot more sense than "These areas need work let's get you scheduled to drill all of them." They're not bad, but something just feels off with them lately, so proceed with caution. The front staff are wonderful though, I have to say, really nice and welcoming.

I've been a patient of Dental Solutions on 13th Street since June 2021. Since then, I've had a great deal work done on my teeth (extractions, crowns, and partial dentures), all done by Dr. David A. Lewis. I can't tell you enough how pleased I was with Dr. Lewis's service and every procedure he completed. You don't meet many people who have his kind of work standards, ethics, and knowledge in what he does. He is a complete professional, yet at the same time, genuinely caring, compassionate, and warm. From day one, I completely trusted him in everything he suggested for my dental care. And he's a perfectionist, which I greatly appreciate and respect because I'm a perfectionist as well. I plan on staying with Dental Solutions on 13th Street for all my future dental concerns, and that has everything to do with Dr. Lewis and his outstanding customer service and care. Dental Solutions is extremely blessed and fortunate having Dr. Lewis as part of their team. Bravo! And thank you, Dr. Lewis!

The staff was wonderful, I had a great experience here. They were able to squeeze me in early, and I had my x rays, cleaning and cavities filled all in one day. Would recommend!
