The dentist and dental assistant were very professional and great service but my only issue I had was dealing with the front desk staff. I tried to explain my insurance policy and they were giving me a very hard time. They initially gave me a bill with out correctly investigating what my insurance covers. I noticed there was something wrong with my bill after I got numbed up and before I got my fillings taking care of, I contacted my insurance company to cross check the bill, mind you I work for the federal government so my latest insurance policy can be easily accessed so I reviewed it and tried to explain to them but just to make sure i wasn't tripping, I called my insurance customer service and handed the call over to one of the front desk staff. basically my insurance rep and the front desk staff were going back and forth on the same matter I already tried to explain that it got to a point that my insurance company just hung up bc the front desk staff refused to dig more into the mistake they made and fix it. So eventually, I had to email them the proof of my insurance policy after showing and having my insurance rep call them before they were willing to consider what my insurance was meant to cover. The only problem I had with this whole situation is that, I was just trying to make sure they were doing the right thing and I wasn't paying for something I knew obviously my insurance covered and it just seemed that they weren't willing to work with me until I took matters into my own hand and escalated the issue. I went there at 12:30pm and left at 4:45pm, spending my whole afternoon there bc of ignorance and bad costumer service. But I will say the dentist, dental assistant and dental hygienist are very professional.

One minus 1000 is the rating. I just called there. I was on for 2 minutes or less. I requested a consultation. The receptionist tone was rude from the beginning and when I asked if the doctor was a DDS, the receptionist mumbled something and hung up on me. This is what was represented at the front desk. However, I have no idea about the doctor or the service she provides. I should have paid more attention to the prior reviews!

After seeing reviews I de idea to call to schedule appt for a tooth e traction due to pain...The first time I called I was placed on hold for 15 us min...I figured id call back maybe they are busy...a few hours later I called back and the lady in a hurried voice states they do not have an oral surgeon...so disappoibting

Dental Solution was a great experience for me. Everyone was polite and they responded to my concerns professionally. I admit that I was scared of catching the covic virus if I went to the dentist. This office was extremely clean and I notice they sanitized regularly. As they worked on my teeth, I experienced no pain and they made it clear that I could stop them if I felt pain. Dental Solution was worth the visit..

It's not the dr it's the front line reps answering the phones . They're not inviting they're not warm they're not professional . They answer like they hate their jobs and for a first time patient it makes you uneasy with scheduling an appointment . Makes you fear the dentist being the same

I just want to say that Shonna was very thorough! She took her time and made sure that I was comfortable. She was very knowledgeable and answered all questions that I asked. Best visit since I've been there and I have been going there for years. She has been here for a few months. She is very personable. Thank you for putting me at ease.

Never had the chance to patronize the place because I was treated poorly over the phone. I Simply call to see if they were able to do an emergency extraction today because I'm in a lot of pain. The lady who answers the phone needs emergency training on how to approach and talk to customer in a professional manner. She hung up on me because she could answer a few questions ,REALLY? I will Will not be doing business with them especially if they allow their front line office employees are allowed to treat customers like that. We got to do better!

I LOVE Dental Solutions. A colleague recommended the office on Market St. almost 2 years ago (he has high standards, so I trust him). I found literally the best dental hygienist I've ever worked with there (Shari). She just really knew her stuff, through and through, and more so than anyone who's ever cleaned my teeth (no exaggeration - the world over). I have very sensitive teeth and she been educating me over time, to help me understand what's aggravating the sensitivity, and how to mitigate and treat, intelligently, and successfully. She's also super present with patients, and pays attention to patient discomfort throughout, and adjusts immediately as needed, which makes a world of difference once the seat goes down, and you're powerless, mouth wide open, sharp tools moving around inside! Every recommendation she's made so far has been spot on, and has changed my dental health for the better. She's also just a breath of fresh air - good sense of humor, and a conscientious, intelligent individual. Honestly, I was so blown away by my experience, and everything I've learned from Shari that when she moved offices a few months ago, I hunted her down and transferred offices just to continue working with her. The receptionists here are also patient, friendly, and proactive; they answer questions over the phone, are knowledgeable, and work with you to try to work out any potential issues that might come up (scheduling, insurance, etc). And it's affordable!! Especially if you get the Delta Dental annual insurance plan which will cover xrays and cleanings. What more do you need?

It was a nice atmosphere. The staff addressed my concerns...my fears and gave me the best advice possible. I really enjoyed the visit...as much as a dentalphobic can enjoy a visit.

I called to make an emergency appointment because my tooth hurt so bad, and she said come December 8 , so i will wait with the pain untill December 8, this is crazy crazy.

I went there for general cleaning and during the cleaning they broke couple of my teeth now making me do fill in after 3 days the fil in got off i had to come back again for another fil in and pay out of packet.From since i visited this place my teeth are not strong like before where i used to chew any food now it's not possible i have lot off restriction with my teeth. Bad experience

Horrible experience at this place, went to the back the dentist was extremely rude and burnt out. She asked a lot of judge mental questions that made me not even wanna get the work i needed done at all and I still didn't get my refund SMH... would definitely recommend to another dental place instead of this one!!!

Omg! This location smdh. I gave them a chance because they're closer than the center city location that I usually go to, but lesson learned. The people literally forgot that I was there. The lady at the front desk took my temp, my insurance info, and then placed me into one of the little cubbies. I waited for about 15-20min. As I was about to get up to say something, the nice hygienist lady came over to me and asked if I'd checked in and who placed me into the cubby. She kept apologizing because I guess the receptionist didn't let anyone know that I was there. X-rays were done and the dentist told me her recommendations. I called and left them multiple messages a few days later to schedule the work that the dentist had suggested but never received a return call. Then, about a few weeks later, I receive a bill for over $100. I called both of my insurances to see why they hadn't paid the bill, since the only thing that I had done were x-rays. Only to find out that they were never billed. So, I called the upper Darby location and attempted to explain to the receptionist what the insurance rep had told me, but she just kept talking over me. I just hung up on her because I was irritated by the lack of respect. So, the bill just exist because my insurance can't pay it until they are billed properly smh. I plan to go back to the center city location soon. Hopefully, the receptionists at that location are able to bill my insurance properly for the x-rays received at the Upper Darby office.
