Dr. Ruth Roach Morgan and her husband, Bobby Morgan, have three children: John, Jake, and Jessica. She is a member of the Chula Homa Foxhunting club, and she and her family own seven dogs, three horses, three cats, and four cows. The entire menagerie lives in Canton, where John works for the City of Ridgeland. Jake works for Helena chemical out of Collierville, Tennessee, and Jessica has joined her mother as a dentist for Dental Solutions of Mississippi.
Dr. Ruth Roach Morgan grew up in Louisiana and received a B.S. in zoology from LSU. She graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 1982 and was an assistant clinical instructor for The Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry from 1982 until 1984. Dr. Ruth Roach Morgan has been in private practice in Canton for 30 years.
