Dr. Syed Masihuddin graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2002. His practices encompass all aspects of dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetic and dental implant care. While at NYU, he spent two years training in dental implants and received further training at St. Joseph Hospital in New Jersey, associated with Seton Hall University. He also received training in BOTOX and dermal fillers from the AAFE (American Academy of Facial Aesthetics).
Dr. Masihuddin has been recognized with various awards in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry, including the ICOI (International Congress of Implantology) award of diplomate in Berlin, Germany. He was also selected as top dentist of Pennsylvania in 2011 and as top dentist of New York in 2013.
Dr. Masihuddin is a fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Currently, he is also a member and in good standing with the ADA, AACD, ICOI, AAFE and AGD, where he upgrades his level of expertise in all areas of dentistry. His offices have state-of-the-art technology, ensuring that patients get the best quality care in a comfortable setting.
Dr. Irwin Medina has over 30 years of experience as a general dentist. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at New York University College of Dentistry in 2004. He then completed his general dental residency at the Lady of Mercy hospital in Bronx, New York. He furthered his education by completing three-year implant dentistry and advanced bone grafting courses at New York University. After serving as the director of the dental department of the Walton Family Health Center, he joined a private practice in the upper east side of Manhattan focusing on implants, full-mouth reconstruction, cosmetic dentistry, root canals, crowns and extractions. Dr. Medina is originally from Central America where he earned a degree in general dentistry. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Medina is a caring and easygoing dentist who takes great pride in his work. In his spare time, he and his wife enjoy bike riding and exploring the great sights and restaurants in the northern Hudson Valley in their classic 1956 Packard.

A simple solution to this dental office would be the addition of a ramp. With 2 steps leading into the front entrance, a portable or small permanent concrete ramp would open this place to more potential patients in need of a wonderful dental practice (I had some assistance getting my wheelchair up the steps). With that said, I felt this was among the best experiences I've had with a dentist. The waiting room was large & well laid out. The wait time was fairly quick & everyone seemed friendly. The dental techs were knowledgeable & quick. When the doctor came in, he was genuinely concerned with my complaint & took the time to explain exactly what was going on. Very friendly & professional. Had there not been an accessibility issue, this dental office would be rated 4 stars. On a recent trip back for a cleaning, I had a most enjoyable experience with the dental tech who made me feel at ease while explaining what she was doing. She even made me laugh. Not something I can say I've experienced at a dentist before. Update: Location now includes a handicapped accessible ramp which is a great plus (suggestions for further improving access would be a sign near the ramp to exclude parking so as not to block access as well as a handicapped accessible restroom). A major welcome improvement!

Was an ok place. Friendly dentist and a clean area. The dentist did not ask me any questions about my teeth or comment on my teeth at all - thought he would start a conversation on it but he just left the room and that was it. Very odd.

My husband and I went here for the first time on Saturday and I'm so happy we did! My daughter highly recommended them and she was right. From the moment we walked in, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was so nice. Melissa is really helpful and happy to answer all our questions. The place is clean and the waiting room is relaxing. I have never had such a great teeth cleaning, ever, like I had at this office! Brittany was AMAZING!!! She listened to everything I told her, she asked questions, was gentle, (I have sensitive gums) so nice but most of all, MY TEETH WERE CLEAN!!! I had coffee stains on my teeth that every dentist office I went to in the past, never got them out. I wanted to cry when I got home Saturday because I was so happy that my teeth were so clean! It always bothered me that other dental hygienist would give me such a rough cleaning and I would still have stains on my teeth. Brittany also changed her gloves several times which is another thing that bothered me at other dental offices. They never changed their gloves even after stepping out of the room and touching various things, especially door knobs! EWW!!! I thanked her for that because that really put me at ease. I'm kind of a germaphobe and that is something I take notice of. Brittany is very thorough and she cares about her work. The dentist was also really nice and caring! Thank you Dental Solutions for doing such an exceptional job, it's much appreciated! I highly recommend trying this place!

I purchased a pair of glasses that were close to $300 I was told if I had any problems that my insurance was great at being able to get the prescription right when I had a problem there was nobody there the owner that convinced me to do business I was never at the facility and no one was there to help I made an appointment to come and see them to have it repaired after waiting several weeks and it was just very disappointing these glasses sitting around doing nothing I would really wish you do some research before you continue to do business with the facility that rather see you up and then let you down

I 1000% recommend coming to dental solutions of highland. I've had years of dental issues that I had been putting off, because of negative experiences with previous dentists. After taking time to address my fear and anxiety, I decided to make an appointment here, since it was so close to home and the positive reviews. From the moment I came in to the moment I left, I was treated with such care and sensitivity. They were compassionate to my fears and did everything to put me at ease. Melissa- the receptionist and office manager was very upfront and honest about appointments and costs, and didn't hesitate to answer any questions. The dental assistants and hygienists were thorough and professional, and Dr. Syed Masihuddin personally made sure that every aspect of my dental needs met my goals and standards. He was honest in what I needed done, never provided a service I didn't need, and the services I did need- he would consult me first and wouldn't do anything without my knowledge and consent. I love coming here, now and look forward to each appointment. I've recommended them to everyone I'm close to and now three more family members have made appointments and are being treated here. Don't hesitate to come here, you'll be happy you did.

Had nothing but the best experiences with Dr. Syed and the staff. Him and the team have done an extraction, and partial implant so far with no negative side effects or pain. I rarely leave reviews (6 total in the probably 10 years of a google account) but nowadays it's rare that people are upfront and honest which has been my experience thus far. Great guy, great staff. 5/5

When the clinic was owned by Dr. Barash, it was great. After Dr. Syed bought the practice, however, we had many unpleasant experiences. The doctor was impolite and curt when answering my ordinary questions. He acted like my presence was an imposition and my appointment for routine care was a waste of his time. One time I came for a morning appointment and the doctor didn't even bother to show up to the office. When I arrived at the office, the receptionist was surprised I was there and that nobody had called me (I had driven 30 minutes in light snow to get there). There were also other mishaps with scheduling, including incorrect appointment times being given to me over the phone, causing problems when a family member and I showed up "late." I can only hope things have gone up in quality at this practice since then.

Had a great experience here. Went in for a cleaning, and they ended up squeezing me in for an extraction just before my insurance expired! Totally painless, wonderful people working there, would recommend.

I came to this facility today after a having horrible experience with my last dentist. Your not just another number here. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I had to get a temporary crown done and it feels 100 times better then my "permanent "one I got elsewhere. The dentist really did a great job and went above and beyond.

I just have to say I have never felt so comfortable with a dentist ever! Dr medeana made me feel so safe and comfortable while he performed a root canal on me..I am petrified of any teeth work and he made me feel very comfortable. The dental assistant with the blonde hair and blue eyes also made me feel very very comfortable & talked to me alot during the procedure telling me how good I was doing amd that I was altmost done! & the front desk lady Melissa is a SWEETHEART , she is good at what she does and she was able to get me in right before my vacation! No more pain! I am very very happy. I 100% recommend going to dental solutions of highland!

I love this place I'm so happy that I found the dental solutions of the Highland If I lived in California I would make it a road trip great staff awesome receptionist you can't beat this place you don't have to wait months had me fixed The very first visit if you have any problems they will help you I've been to a lot of dentist these ones really care Did I mention the all receptionist very very awesome keep up the good work.

I had a great experience today with both my hygienist and Dr. Syed. I am a very nervous patient and found out I will need a root canal so I got very scared but both Dr. Syed and my hygienist were incredibly kind and put my mind at ease for my upcoming appointment.

Thorough care and great staff-I found everyone to be knowledgable, helpful, kind, and patient. Melissa at the front desk went out of her way to help me sort out my complicated insurance situation, and my teeth have never felt cleaner.

Melissa, the receptionist has been so helpful and so pleasant to speak to. She has gone above and beyond to help me, from scheduling my appointment to explaining my insurance benefits. She never rushes me, no matter how many questions I ask. When I went to my appt, I felt very safe as far as Covid-19 goes and I work in the medical field so I have high expectations!! My Dental hygienist was wonderful and friendly as well as the doctor. I would definitely recommend this dental office!!
