Dr. Tong lived in Hawaii from 6th grade until college where he attended the University of Hawaii on a full scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of the Eta Kappa Nu (HKN), the International honor society for electrical and computer engineers.

He was selectedto work at the Hawaiian Electric Company as an engineer for a few years before receiving a scholarship to go back to school. In 1998, Dr. Tong obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.

After graduating from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, Dr. Tong practiced in Seattle, Washington and in Los Angeles, California before becoming a clinical director for a large dental corporation where he managed 4 dentist and 10 staff. In 2003, Dr. Tong opened hisfirst dental practicein Sunnyvale, California. In 2010, Dr. Tong openedhis secondoffice in San Jose, California.

From2003 to 2005, Dr. Tong finished a two years orthodonticprogram with Progressive Orthodontics. In 2006, he completed a one yearbone graft and implant surgery program with Implant Seminars. For the past 25 years, Dr. Tong has participated in intricate training in all aspects of esthetic and cosmetic dentistry. He actively attends seminars and continues his education to keep abreast of the latest techniques and advances in the field of dentistry.

Dr. Tong is a board certified dentist in California andWashington state. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Clara County Dental Society, and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Tong is also fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese.

As a teenager growing up in San Francisco, Dr. Wong worked as adental assistant, sterilizing instruments and assisting the dentist. Working in the dental office was fun and she greatly enjoyed getting to know her patients as her friends. It only made sense for her to pursue a career in dentistry.

Dr. Wong graduated cum laude from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. In 2001, she graduated at the top of her class from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry. For the past 22 years, in addition to her busy practice, Dr. Wong has been teaching oral hygiene, volunteering her time to serve underprivileged children in Santa Clara County, and donating her services to CDA Cares, California Dental Association Foundation that provides free dental treatments to people who otherwise cannot afford it. She is also a clinical professor at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry-University of the Pacific.

Dr. Wong enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She especially enjoys teeth whitening and has been personally trained by the inventor of Deep Bleaching, Dr. Rod Kurthy, who developed Kor, a teeth whitening technique unchallenged as the most effective whitening technique in the world today.

Dr. Wongs exceptional abilities in the field of teeth whitening have been featured in the widely read and popular dental journal, Dental Town. You may have seen her interviewed on television regarding her many talents in dentistry.

Dr. Wong is a respected board certified dentist right here in Silicon Valley. She is fluent in Cantonese, Taishanese, and Mandarin. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Clara County Dental Society.
