Dental Solutions of Chambersburg was opened for business on July 10, 2006 by Eric C. Weiss, DMD. A Pittsburgh native, Dr. Weiss received his Bachelors of Science in biology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and went on to get his Doctorate at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
After graduate school, Dr. Weiss relocated to the island of Guam located in Micronesia. There he worked perfecting his skills providing dental care as a civilian contractor for the U.S. Military and local government. After working and traveling through the Pacific rim for two and a half years, Dr. Weiss returned to the United States.
In 2001, he was recruited by the National Health Service Corps to treat the underserved population in south central Pennsylvania. After four years of service to the NHSC and more than ten years of experience in all phases of patient care, Dr. Weiss opened Dental Solutions of Chambersburg.
Dr. Weiss is an Eagle Scout, an avid sportsman and an outdoors man. He is an expert scuba diver and is certified as an instructor, rescue diver, equipment specialist, extended range diver, underwater photographer and videographer, along with being a cavern and shipwreck specialist. To date, he has logged nearly 1,000 dives in more than 20 countries around the world. Traveling and exploring new cultures are two of his favorite diversions.

After difficult experiences with a previous dentist, Dr. Weiss and his staff are a breath of fresh air! They have been sympathetic and very helpful with fixing the problems created by the previous dentist, and referring me to a very skilled oral surgeon to fix the rest. I highly recommend them!!

Always very happy with Dental Solutions the whole staff go above and beyond to make sure your comfortable and well prepared before they start any work. They are very professional along with being very kind. I always feel calm and sure they well take good care of my dental issues. I highly recommend them, but only if you want the best team to service you.

I have been going to Dr. Weiss for years. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. They keep up with the latest technologies . No complaints. This is the best dental practice I've ever used. You will not be disappointed.

The best dentist, that I've literally ever been to! He went above and beyond to help me feel at ease! While also using his skills and brilliance, to make sure that I finally had a smile again. A smile that I could be proud of, after going through years of embarrassment and unimaginable pain! The dental assistants are also knowledgeable, understanding and go above and beyond, while making you forget you're actually at the dentist office! Even the secretary/billing representative is amazing and she's able to work wonders! She's extremely understanding and always there to make you feel at ease too. Always brings a smile to your face when you go to the dentist. Even if you cannot feel your face when you leave, you know you're smiling in this office!

This is the best dental office I have ever been to. The staff are always so friendly and Dr Weiss always asks about your family and what's new in your life. I have always had anxiety about going to the dentist but it's non-existent with this office!

Fantastic dentist! Dr Weiss treated me with the utmost respect the whole visit. I've always been nervous with the dentist even as an adult and he is very good at keeping one relaxed through good conversations and staying patient. I didn't feel like another patient, but like I've known him for years.

The dentist is a fine dentist if you can get and keep an appointment. I scheduled a regular cleaning in Oct. for an appointment in Nov. The day before I called to reschedule because they had booked a training course that day. So either they set my appointment on a day they weren't already available or they scheduled their training they had already committed to me? The next appointment was canceled again. This happened once a year earlier where an appointment was made and they canceled because the dentist wasn't available that day.
