Dr. Kourtsounis or Dr. K is a pediatric dentist originally from Long Island. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1998. After graduation, he returned to Maryland where his family had moved and was accepted into the top ranked University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2003.
In 2006, Dr. Kourtsounis was accepted into the pediatric dentistry specialty at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He served as chief resident and helped author various publications, which appeared in local and nationwide dental journals.
Dr. Kourtsounis has continued to stay on at Mount Sinai as an attending faculty and has dedicated his free time to teaching at the residency and performing dental rehabilitation cases in the operating room under general anesthesia.
Dr. Kourtsounis and his wife have a six-year-old son who is also very interested in becoming a dentist like his dad. He is a diehard Chicago Blackhawks and NHL fan, and a car enthusiast who enjoys racing his car on the weekends

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a friendly Pedatric dentist for my 5 year old son. My son has always been afraid of going to the dentist but this was the first place where he felt comfortable and safe! The staff was very friendly and quick! Manny was absolutely great with my son! My son went thought they whole cleaning well and even got some X-rays done! Would definitely recommend!

My kids have been going for years. Clean facility. Nice atmosphere. Only downfall staff changes constantly, so you never see the same people.

First time bringing my daughter who is 13 1/2 yrs old and on the spectrum, autism. Very professional. Dentist explained in detail what my daughter needed done and the reason why. Dental assistant was very sweet, kind to my daughter. She took her dental x-ray. Kepted her calm and gave her vanilla bean chapstick and her twin sister Tea Tree Mint Chapstick They loved it Thank you for your kindness. Front desk thank you for your attention and kindness. Been here twice now with my 4y/o. I think we were in the office for a total of 30mins total combined both visits! Each time we were seen almost immediately, and the staff was super nice to my daughter. They kept things moving but still took the time to chat and make my daughter comfortable. Nice office and all that too. My wife insisted we go to an extremely well reviewed kids dentist and I am super grateful. Thank you for respecting our time and teeth!

I cannot believe this office is still open, I thought they closed down. I have been trying to call them for over a month to schedule an appointment for my daughter and no one ever answers their phones, so i just found a new dentist for my children. In this day in age professionalism, technology and communication is a must for any business. Not sure what they are doing over there or how people even get in contact with them.

They discriminated against me and my family. The office manager was Sooo rude and unethical. Even Dr.K fooled me to take down my previous review and then ignored my complaint, however he said he will fire the office manager. But, I have the recording and going to seek legal actions.

They're great with kids. My daughter needed lots of dental work and she was happy every time. She had no idea of the treatment she recieved but happy camper.
