Dr. Vishala Patel was born and raised in Gujarat, India, where she also earned her dental degree in 2015. She moved to America when she got married to her now husband Dr. Mayank Patel. She has loved dentistry since she was in middle school and has explored various aspects of it while she was transitioning to get her dental license here. She accompanied her husband during his residency in Brooklyn while she worked as a dental assistant and learned about the differences in patient care as compared to India. She also volunteered as a dental assistant at a community based dental clinic located at the New York Presbyterian hospital where her husband was a medical resident.
They then moved to Ann Arbor where Dr. Patel earned her DDS from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Both Dr. Patels love serving the Dayton community with the knowledge and experience they have gained over the years.
Dr. Patel enjoys all aspects of dentistry but is really focused with making patients feel comfortable and helping them get the treatment they need to maintain good oral health. Alleviating patient fears and providing patients with quality treatment is very important to her along with creating an atmosphere of trust and caring. She strives to provide an experience that she herself would enjoy as a patient.
She is actively involved in continuing education, maintaining the abilities to offer the latest-and-greatest restorative options for her patients. When Dr. Patel is not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, doing activities like painting, dancing, and travelling.

Very pleased with the Dental Smile Professionals. My 84 year old sister-in-law had not been to a dentist in 3 years. After two extractions, deep gum cleanings and one filling. She is out of pain and on a Periodontal Maintenance program. Dentist and technicians very gentle.

Needed a new dentist pronto and Dr. Patel's practice welcomed me so graciously. They were extremely professional on the in-take side and have a wonderful dental assistant who took care of my xrays and initial assessment. When Dr. Patel stepped in she was so professional with my case and treatment plan. I'm so glad I've found a new dental practice for my family and me.

What a wonderful experience we had today at Dental Smile Professionals in Huber! Specifically, I want to mention Kate. She was so amazing with my 5 yr old daughter! Talking with her, showing her all the instruments and making her laugh. She made her feel so comfortable. My daughter on leaving her appointment said, "That was so fun!" She also mentioned that the Bubblegum flavored toothpaste was terrific. Huge props for the team at this office and especially for Kate!

Great staff. Very professional in everything they do. They also have a cute small fridge with a lot of things in there and a coffee machine with various kinds of coffee... A very nice environment.

This office is the best dental office I have ever been at. All the staff are friendly and they are very concerned with making sure I have remained comfortable during procedures. Dr. Patel is very patient and personable. She explains each procedure to ensure I know the plan and answers all questions. My hygienist is very caring and also is very patient and demonstrates concern over my comfort. The office staff are very welcoming. This is an excellent team. They seem to truly enjoy their working environment and that translates over into their approach to patients. I would absolutely recommend them to my family and friends.

I just wanted to say the people here at Smile Professionals of Dayton were as polite as can be and made me feel welcoming from beginning to end. Cidnie made me feel at ease the whole process and Dr Patel made sure I understood everything as I was getting taken care of, I found a new place that will always get my business. Dr. Philippi, Karla, Jan, Cidnie, and Denise were all wonderful! Karla was as amazing and encouraging as usual, but especially for someone who is not a fan for the dentist appt in general!
