Dr.Waleed has won a lifelong patient as I'm sure he will do with anyone new to his practice. I have never looked forward to getting dental work done due to the fear of pain or shoddy work, but both are distant memories at this practice. He is extremely attentive of pain or discomfort and explains procedures in a way any can understand. My crown was done to perfection. Take my word as someone who dislikes the dentist that this is one to come to and even look forward to getting work done. Thank you!

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. The reviews must all be friends and accomplices. Lets start with the space, the office looks like its trapped in the 90s. The chairs we were seated in looked and felt about 10 years old. The space was not particularly clean nor confidence inspiring. The head dentist, was wearing a gaudy shirt and jeans while doing dental work, that was a red flag right away. Most of the employees here were texting and on their phones during treatment which is highly unprofessional and unhygenic. There were 1-2 chairs for patients, in a ajoining room where the doors were open the whole time to the reception area. The subpar treatment and dental work provided needed to be redone at a proper dentistry. Avoid at all cost if you care about your teeth. Update: I can 100% confirm I was here and I can 100% confirm I will never be back, I'll be telling every person I know from now to the end of time to avoid Dental Smile at all cost. We have already involved the NY State Board of Dentistry. Plz Update: Saying that someone has a face only a mother could love is not racially prejudice or discriminatory. I'm spending the day at the ER because of you. Update: 2 night hospital stay after a surgical procedure, malpractice suit incoming.

I wish for justice to be served. Please address your malpractice. Take responsibility and ownership and prove you are the Dr which cares about his patients like you claim to be.

This is the first time I've come here. Dr. Saidi was kind and polite, the doctor was very energetic and liked his work very much, he also mastered it very well. Good luck, God willing. Definitely recommend!

Dr. Saidi is currently treating me for a root canal. During my three visits there, I had a great experience--the staff was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Saidi was skillful in performing a complicated root canal and adhering to all sanitary protocols needed in a dental office. The office was spotless. Everything is white, including the floors, which are very difficult to maintain. A drop of coffee from my cup was so noticeable on the floor that I felt compelled to clean it with a napkin. I was saddened to read a negative review. The person who wrote the negative review went as far as having many of her friends who had never met Dr. Saidi write more negative reviews, including a cruel racial comment on Dr. Saidi's IG page. This patient did not call or return to the clinic to resolve her issue. Had she called and complained, the office staff and Dr. Saidi would have been there for her to help her out. What happened to respect and civility? Having the advantage of reviewing doctors on google does not permit anyone to be cruel, engage in a journey of destruction with the help of friends, and cause unnecessary suffering. I landed in Dr. Saidi's office after having an uncomfortable experience with my previous doctor. I approached him with an email stating my concerns, and he reached out to me and said that he understood his mistakes and would also like to use this as a learning experience for himself and the whole team to improve. We both engaged in a resolution to a problem in a tolerant and civilized manner. No one is perfect or infallible in making mistakes. However, there are humane and inhumane ways of dealing with an issue, and being cruel is unacceptable. That is cyberbullying! Despicable!

After recently discovering Dental Smile PC, I had to share my exceptional experience with Dr. Saidi and his team. To begin, I was in search for a dentist in Astoria that specialized in crown work. I work in the entertainment world, and as many know, the smile is a very important feature for stage, print, television and film. After doing tedious research, attending multiple consultations, staring at many teeth galleries and reading reviews, I trusted that Dr. Saidi would be the one to "fix" the previous botch crown job I recieved in Atlanta. I came to his office with very specific concerns about the previous job, and felt at ease and impressed by the doctors knowledge with ways to improve them. The enhancements included filing down the tooth properly to prevent bulk, correcting discoloration, and perfecting the details in craftsmanship to make the crowns appear more "natural". He also assured me that his team would make certain I felt satisfied with the end result. The crowns exceeded my expectations. Dental smiles accommodated me by rushing my crowns expeditiously from a reputable lab, and I was overjoyed to see they turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I am beyond thankful for the teams patience, altruism, thoroughness, accomadation through care credit, and constant assurance. The accuracy of the teeth were emaculate, and I am forever grateful.

I had a root canal done with a post. At first I was hesitant about getting it done here because of the bad review I've seen but I couldn't find an office near by that took my insurance and was willing to see me as soon as possible. My cavity was giving me so much pain so I decided to take my chance based on the good reviews that I've also seen. During and after my root canal I had not experience any pain or discomfort but I was still hesitant about the job done. So before booking a second appointment for the post I went to my family dentist who has 30+ years of experience in dentistry ( Dr. Bouziotis Williams) and he had told me that the dentist that has done my root canal did a very clean and amazing job. As a result of his trusted opinion I had returned to Dr. Saidi and decided to proceed with the procedure in order to do the post and crown. I've never been happier with my results. Dr. Saidi himself is very caring of his patients and his wonderful friendly staff. I 100% recommend this dentist. His work shows that he has a lot of experience and that he knows exactly what his doing. Thank you Dr. Saidi

Horrible. Don't be fooled by the fake five star reviews. Update: I didn't say I was your patient but you did do my friend's root canal recently and botched it. She's been in intense pain for literally two weeks and had to get it redone elsewhere. You also prescribed her medication that would've KILLED her even though she told you MULTIPLE times she is allergic to penicillin. Again, she could've DIED. Good thing her pharmacist was more meticulous than you and warned her before she went home and took the medication. I'm also pretty sure paying people to write fake positive reviews for your medical establishment is arguably worse. People could die and suffer at your careless hands. I'm just warning the people about your lackadaisical practices. Take responsibility for your neglect.

TLDR: Don't be fooled by all these 5* reviews and do not come to this establishment. This dentist is not professional. I needed an emergency root canal last Saturday and found Dental Smile PC after seeing all the glowing reviews. When I arrived, a lovely female doctor was looking after me. Not long after, Dr Saidi decided to take over (not wearing scrubs) and began the procedure. He was mumbling the entire time ("ok here we go", "good", etc.). At one point there was a complication in my case which I knew about because he was giving me a play-by-play. This was particularly distressing because here I am sitting on the chair while this doctor is verbally struggling to figure out my case. In the end, he said it was a beautiful root canal and sent me on my way. Picking up my prescription, the pharmacist noticed I was prescribed a derivative of penicillin which I REPEATEDLY told the doctor I was allergic to. They were closed before I could get there. I was stuck without medication for first day and the next. After the anesthetic wore, I had massive pain in my lymph node. I believe it was infected by the root canal PRIOR to my procedure and assumed it would get better once I received my meds. Once they reopened 2 days later, I got them to send in a new medication: Zpack. I took it for two days and did not feel any better. My lymph node is still in so much pain. I went to see my usual dentist today and he saw that Dr. Saidi SEALED UP THE TOOTH when it was supposed to be open for pressure and abscess to escape. And that Zpack is completely useless when it comes to infected lymph nodes (which the female doctor from the beginning seemed to be aware of). My dentist whispered "rookies.." under his breath. I couldn't help think about how Dr. Saidi kept going on and on about how he had been in the business for 17 years. I am currently in a lot of pain and have had multiple fevers over the past few days due to the infection. I'm now on Clindamycin and hoping it will get better soon. If not, I will need to see an oral surgeon/endontist to fix this mess. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR TOOTH AND AVOID THIS DENTIST. UPDATE: An Endodontist confirmed that Dr. Saidi did not fully complete the root canal procedure and left infected pulp in my tooth before filling it.

Dr Saidi (I'm using the title Dr very loosely here) completely botched my friend's root canal procedure, causing her immense, prolonged pain, and forced her to spend additional time and money to get his mistake fixed by other practitioners who are actually competent at their jobs. It is one thing to be bad at your job. It is another to be unprofessional, unhygienic, and uncaring. Not only did Dr Saidi leave his patient worse than when he found her, he prescribed her penicillin after she told him multiple times that she was allergic to it. On top of everything, he now has the audacity to threaten legal action against recent 1-star reviews. What should really be illegal here is the fact that Dr Saidi is allowed to practice dentistry. It is extremely telling that he is spending the time to respond to negative reviews instead of reflecting on how he can make it up to his patient. Moreover, this is apparently not the first time Dr Saidi has failed at a procedure. You will be able to find reviews from other patients (here on Google Maps and on other sites) if you're able to sift through all the seemingly glowing reviews, which there is such a huge amount of that it brings into question their legitimacy. Bottom line is, do not go to Dr Saidi if you value your health.
