Dental Serenity is a dental practice located in the Southbridge shopping plaza in Dumfries, VA. Located next to the Super Walmart, Dental Serenity strives to bring quality dental care to both the residents of Dumfries and surrounding areas. Since opening in early 2011 we have strived to become a welcomed member of the community.
We understand that trips to the dentist are sometime filled with anxiety and concern. Dental Serenity feels that your trip to the dentist should be an enjoyable experience in a comfortable and relaxing environment. As such, we strive to take away the anxiety of each visit by supplying our patients with the following amenities:

I have been going to Dental Serenity for at least 5 years now. This is the first dental office that I've ever felt comfortable at. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and comforting. And they always fit me in in a timely manner, whether planned or last minute! Billing is always super easy too - they handle all the insurance stuff and give accurate quotes. Never been disappointed in any of their services (and I've used a lot)! The entire family now comes here, even my 8 year old.

The *new* Dental Serenity is great! The entire staff is friendly and professional. My hygienists Geneva and ShaNita were awesome and Dr. Shahezad is awesome!

Always available, takes great care of my teeth and has a great personality. The staff at the front desk are professional and the facility is wonderful! This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team was very professional examining. This has been the best dental office I've ever been to.

Dr. Shahrzad is pretty great. Not only does he make going to the dentist enjoyable, but he's a good dentist too. The recent updates to Dental Serenity have been beautiful. It has the appeal of a local dental office with its friendly staff, yet has completely modern technology in a contemporary setting. I will continue to refer my friends to Dr. Shahrzad and Dental Serenity.

If you're looking for a dental office that has true empathy ( rare to find today) towards patients this is your place! I was assured by the staff that they would take care of me and that they did! The manager April was incredibly sweet as well as the Dental assistant Geneva! Dr. Shahrzad was also incredibly personable.Truly a remarkable experience.

I hate the dentist. I'm a menial flosser at best, who LOVES sugar (but my smile still pretty) so appointments can be stressful. This place is less stressful than my job! The staff is attentive and efficient. Ms. April and the team at the front do the best at working with your insurance and budget. Geneva and the hygienists are gentle and destress even the most anxiety-giving procedures. Dr. Shahrzad is knowledgeable and personable. He clearly communicates what is happening and what next steps should be taken without giving the "used car salesman" push. The office is modern with forward technology and smart TVs in exam rooms. They are meticulous in regards to cleanliness and COVID protocols. I live in Arlington and make the treck out of the city to come here because I know I will be taken care of. Also- for those that care: the staff is diverse and a great representation of the DC populous.
