Dr. Winn attended theUniversity of Iowa College of Dentistryfrom 2000-2004. He has been active in general and sedation dentistry for over 11 years. He graduated from a residency in anesthesiology in 2013 and has been practicing in the Central Coast since then.
Outside the office, Dr. Winn enjoys cooking, woodworking, and scouting with his 3 sons and 2 daughters. He tries very hard to be an attentive husband and caring dad. He is also the caretaker of two socially maladaptive corgis.

Nancy and Teresa were extremely helpful and understanding. I would definitely take my kids to Santa Barbara to Dr. Winn again . Dr. Winn your staff are keepers! Dr. W. was fantastic - made what was a very scary prospect into something that was extremely easy. Absolutely one of the best dentists in town. As an administrator of a memory care home, our residents require a dentist who works well with special needs and conditions. Dr. Winn and his team have become indispensable to the oral health of our residents. Working with 'just the right amount' of sedation, Dr. Winn was able to clean, examine, x-ray and repair - all within one 1-hour visit.
Dr. Winn was a pleasure to work with. He fully explained what to expect and was very professional and personable while working on my son with Special needs! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of his services!
Dr. Winn and his team performed extensive oral surgery, including sinus lift, bone grafting and extractions. I am 1 week post surgery and love my full upper implant. I have followed his post surgery advice regarding pain management and soft liguid diet and feel Great! Thank You, Dr.Winn.

It's always a pleasure to go to Dr. Winn's office. As soon as I enter the premises, I am greeted by friendly ladies. Dr. Winn is professional and respectful. He is also a good listener and knows his trade perfectly...How do I know? Simply because I NEVER felt pain in his office, even while been treated for a dental implant.

My daughter needed to have a few teeth pulled. Having her be sedated was the best way to go. Everyone was really nice. Her appointment wasn't suppose to be until end of October but they called and got her in sooner which was awesome. Her appointment didn't take very long at considering what she was having done. Great experience and really nice staff!

Dr. Winns office is the best. My daughter went to see him and she felt so hopeless and defeated and they were so kind and totally unjudgemental and put her right at ease and gave her hope. I would also like to give a shout out to Beverly (his assistant) and Nancy (at the front desk-not sure if that is the correct name) for their kindness as well. My son had his wisdom teeth removed under anesthesia. My son has never been put under anesthesia so i was nervous but Dr. Winn was informative and nice! He made sure I knew my son was in good hands. Best dentist/anesthesiologist ive ever met! Definitely recommend him!

This is a great place to go take care of your teeth! The team was very professional examining and providing information, was greeted by Pay who was super friendly and welcoming! I had a cleaning done and they did a great job, I felt that I was in good hands. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on. Thanks to Winn Dental! Highly recommend!

Had a great experience with Dr. Will, Nancy, Theresa and Monica (his staff.). I have been without my front tooth for over 7 years and finally got my smile back! Thanks to Dr. and his kind staff. Top notch dental service with all the necessary tools and machines. Highly impressed with the quality of work put into this implant. It looks and fits perfect. Highly recommend!

What a great find! This aging jaw along with my innate terror response to just the thought of usual cleaning and (ugh) bridge or crown work (I call it water torture) made me wonder if I was done with dental work--UNTIL I found Dr. Winn! Just got home from his office , where I happily slept through all of the first stage of replacing an old bridge with implants. All staff are kind and helpful. Feel so lucky to have found him.

I took my 3 year old son with autism, waiting is something extremely hard for him whether it's waiting in line at the grocery store or waiting for his turn to take a shower.I had taken him to Cali Dental in Lompoc a month ago. Was there 15mintues prior to appointment time. Didn't get called in til45 min after appointment time only to be told to bring him another day at the first tantrum he threw. They didn't even try to get him past lobby.I was very clear of his special needs. Within 15 minutes of our arrival at Dr.Winn's office, my son was being taken care of just feet away from me. Nancy and Teresa were extremely helpful and understanding.Anyone who has a child with special needs knows how difficult and time consuming it is to accomplish regular day to day activities . My son does not remember anything from the experience, unlike a past sedation experience with Dr.Michael in Santa Maria. He just came home bragging to his brothers he went to the dentist. He has no idea got 2 extractions! I would definitely take my kids to Santa Barbara to Dr. Winn again . Dr. Winn your staff are keepers! Tri- Counties regional center, this office should be the first one you recommend!

I cannot thank Dr. Winn, Teresa and Monica enough..... fantastic work .... you saved my tooth! Thank you so much for seeing me on short notice, fitting me in inbetween your regularly scheduled patients on a Friday... no doubt at your lunch time and especially for the wonderful job you did salvaging my broken tooth, creating a temporary crown and accommodating me for a permanent crown on my tight schedule. This Doctor went out of his way to contact TCRC... To offer help when there was none. My case manager C.J. said this never happens. We've seen him for 2 years now.
