Dr. Hala Taha was running her own Orthodontic practice in Lebanon for over four years and teaching Orthodontics part-time when she became an instructor at the Tweed Foundation for Orthodontic Research in Tucson- Arizona. She was asked twice to speak at the American Association of Orthodontists meeting, an honor limited to few international doctors.
During a trip to the US, she met Ali, now her husband, and decided to move permanently to Illinois. She joined the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago as a post-graduate student and fulfilled the requirements for licensure in the US. In 2010, she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, the highest certification an orthodontist can obtain.
Dr. Taha speaks four languages (English, Spanish, French and Arabic) fluently and is very devoted to what she does. She is a dedicated clinician and teacher who enjoys the art and science of Orthodontics.
Dr. Taha resides in Carol Stream with her husband Ali and two children. She loves spending her free time with her daughter Hali, her son Reda. As a family, they enjoy traveling together and learning about new cultures.
Dr. Juweria Amjeds care philosophy is to provide individualized dental care tailored to her patients unique dental needs. She believes great results are achieved through open communication, education, and utilizing the most up-to-date technology available in dentistry.
Dr. Amjed strives to provide her patients with a compassionate and worry-free dental experience. Her goal as a general dentist is to establish a good rapport with her patients and educated them on how to keep their smiles beautiful and healthy from the very first tooth to the golden years.
She currently lives in Chicago with her wonderful husband and two fur babies, Peanut and Wally. When shes not in the office creating beautiful smiles, she enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, and painting masterpieces.

Everyone was amazing! From the time I walked in until the time I left, everyone was so nice and helpful. It was my first time coming in for my daughter and I'm so happy to have found such a great dental office.

Inaccurate booking system, had to reschedule. False advertising of $50 new patient special. Questionable diagnosis and pushing of unnecessary treatments.

Came here for my teeth stain removal. Amazing dental clinic. The receptionists are very polite and courteous. Dr. Juweria and Dr Amani did a great job with my teeth. They look amazing now. I can now smile without hesitation. Thanks to these two docs my life is different now.

Disorganized, cancelled our apts without telling us , not a trustworthy office and the dentists are not detailed. Way better places in naperville. Transferred care today

FIND A BETTER DENTIST! They cancel at least 50% of the time then reschedule you months later, then cancel again. When you are in the office they find a problem and assure they will help you then once you're gone you are forgotten. This happened with myself and my daughter. So kind when there, but no follow through and promises to call insurance and call you back DO NOT happen. It is clear they do not care about a person. Very unorganized and no communication within office.

Very rude and unprofessional staff! I was having a conversation on the phone regarding my last procedure done and the staff decided to hang up on me in the middle of the conversation. Not only that, she continued to block all my calls so I could not leave a message. This had happened on September 2, 2022 between 11:15 am and 11:30 am. I have been with this office for the past 10 years and never been treated like this. I am not sure I will be coming back. Very disappointed.

The office is very disorganized. It is impossible to get ahold of someone on the phone and they will cancel appointments on you or schedule you without you knowing to a different time. There were several times that they told me a procedure would be covered by insurance so they would do the work which then would not be covered and I would have to pay out of my pocket. Not sure how they stay open. Some procedures may be cheaper there than other dentist offices but it is not worth it. Some of the dental hygienists are good but the dentist and front desk people are terrible.

I am brand new to Dental Roots and so far my experience has been questionable . I always pay the amount due every visit and now I keep getting bills sent to me stating I owe more money . I have tried my best to explain to them how I have already paid for their services but they won't listen and keep charging me . Their billing department will cost them their dental patients .

I'm very disappointed to the administration in this office. I was just told today that they won't work with my insurance anymore. There has not been any communication send to me prior to today. Now I have to find someone else at the last minute. I also have a problem with the admin support for Ortho, I was supposed to be on a payment plan since last Dec and I just learned that I was not put in any. It's very frustrating

Dr Taha is amazing- very thorough and takes the time to explain everything. Before braces, the arch expander she made for my daughter helped avoid tonsil removal surgery and also resolved her snoring. I am so thankful for her timely expert opinion which saved us so much trouble. I would highly recommend Dr Taha to anyone who needs braces! Isha

I spent 5 years afraid of going into the dentist and embarrassed by my smile. This place changed everything for me! They were sensitive to my insecurities and treated me like a friend (I truly believe these doctors are my friends haha). I have adult braces that fixed what I thought might be impossible without surgery or pulling teeth. My insurance was compatible (which was huge) and I was able to pay upfront for my ortho. As a single mom, sometimes it's hard taking my daughter with me, but they treat her so kind and even ask about her when she's not there. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, but beyond that... the kindness and true joy they give from the moment you walk in.

I was there for just a second opinion and exam. However, the dentist ended up removing a filling without my consent. They knew up front that I was paying out of pocket because they didn't accept my insurance. If she thought the filling was bad or old and was the reason for my pain, she should have told me before she started drilling. I would have gone to my regular dentist who accepts my insurance. I don't like this place!!!

Impossible to get a hold of anyone in the office for several months now. You have to jump through hoops to have someone maybe schedule a visit through call center. No way to get a hold of in case of emergency.

The worst customer service. I had appointments with my boys and apparently she said our appointment got scheduled for June. I asked her why no one called me and I took day off. I switched to another clinic.

The worst dental office you can go to I started a service there it took them almost 2 month to get my dinshers half way done and when I canceled it in June 2021 till now November 24 21 I didn't get my money I'm calling them they never respond to my question always go around the new office manager doesn't know shhhh The front desk it the begets most dishonest person I'm taking a complaint against them in better business bureau and I will spent $5000 to get my $500 back never go there not professional at all
