Dr. Arjun Mehta graduated from New Jersey Dental School in 2012, and then completed a General Practice Residency in 2013. He then went on to get his Associate Fellowship in dental implants from New Jersey Dental School. From there he joined his fathers office in Bay Ridge and then expanded into the East Village of Manhattan to better serve their patients.
Dr. Mehta is an active member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He spends hundreds of hours each year on continuing education to be able to excel in the field and offer the best possible treatment to his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Mehta loves to play sports, whether its hockey, soccer, basketball, tennis, biking, running, skiing. He loves the outdoors, is an avid traveler and loves to face new adventures with his family.
With 40 years of dental knowledge and experience under his belt, Dr Mehta can confidently handle most of your dental needs. He supplements his dental expertise with his vast knowledge of alternative/natural treatments. Dr Mehta is conservative and is a strong believer in treating the body holistically, not just your individual tooth. With an emphasis on discovering the root cause of the problem, he is able to focus on preventing future issues. He is gentle, compassionate and has mastered the art of painless dentistry.
Dr Mehta graduated from NYU Dental School in 1981. He has been practicing in Bay Ridge since that time. His office is state of the art and prides itself on its loyal patients who travel from all over the tristate area to come see him for treatment. His practice has expanded through word of mouth alone.

Cannot say enough good things about this Father/Son duo of dentists. I've been coming here for a few years now. I have extremely bad anxiety, especially when it comes to dentists and doctors. Since day one, Dr. Mehta (senior) has put me at ease. He's so good, that my anxiety level when I go there is almost zero. He's very gentle and soft spoken. I saw his son about 2 times during COVID and he's just as good. The staff is also very attentive and informative. They are on top of things. Office is very clean as well! Highly recommend this dental office!

Highly recommend! I had LOTS of anxiety about going to the dentist. After the first visit 18 month ago I have become an advocate. Dr. Arjun Mehta and the entire staff are simply amazing. They made me feel comfortable from day 1 and every time I went to the office I felt happy and comfortable. Dr. Mehta is an exceptional dentist and took the time to explain the details of what my treatment plan was and the "why behind the what". Great job!

Been going to Dr Mehta for a long time. Always have great experience with various procedures I had in the past until present & the dentist/staff call a day after to follow up on how I'm doing. The dentists/staff are very friendly and provide great service!!

Dr Mehta is an outstanding dentist and an exceptional human being. My whole family of four generations (my grandmother, my parents, my siblings, my husband and I, my son and my nephews) had been under his care for the past 30+ years. Even though my brother and I had both moved from Brooklyn to Staten Island and to Jersey more than 20 years ago, we still go back to Dr Mehta with our adult kids for our dental care. Dr Mehta takes his job seriously. He teaches us how to take care of our teeth to optimize our dental health. He always exams any and all of our dental issues carefully, explains them to us in great details, ponders about best possible solutions from different angles and come up with the least invasive one that take care of our problems. Not only is Dr Mehta a completely trustworthy dentist, he is also a wonderfully caring person and a great listener with a good sense of humor. On top of Dr Mehta's wonderful traits, the staff is also exceptional. The hygienist Mabely was a licensed dentist in her hometown. She cleans our teeth with great gentleness and a thoroughness that make you want to smile more to show your clean teeth after the appointment! The front desk people, Mrs Mehta and Christina, are always friendly, organized and on top of scheduling and paperwork. They always make me feel like I am going to visit my family rather than seeing the dentist! Moreover, the office also has the most modern X ray equipments. Dr Mehta Jr, like father like son, is continuing the legacy of excellent dental practice for the community with Dr Mehta senior side by side. Good dentists are hard to find nowadays. So if you are looking for a great dentist and a dental place that make you feel at home, your search has just ended here!

Amazing experience! Not gonna lie- I am skeptical of dentists because of years and years of bad experiences, but this office's knowledge, friendly and welcoming service, and time to explain everything was TOP NOTCH. Definitely recommend!

I've been three times now for getting a crown reseated, getting a filling, and getting a night guard retainer. Dr. Mehta has been exceedingly kind and taken the time to explain everything he's doing and answer any questions I had, and I never felt pressured to do any procedure. The staff have all been friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they text reminders to patients the day before. I will definitely continue to go here for all dental services.
