Dr. Kern K. Agader was born in Hawaii and grew up in Mililani. He graduated with honors from both the University of Hawaii at Manoa and from the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Agader is a member of the American Dental Association, the Hawaii Dental Association, the Honolulu County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Hawaii Chapter of Delta Sigma Delta.
He also belongs to various dental study clubs and frequently travels out-of-state to stay on the forefront in the field of dentistry. In addition to a wide array of annual continuing education that Dr. Agader attends, he has also received specialized training at the prestigious Dawson Academy, enabling him to treat more complex dental restorative cases such as those involving complete/full-mouth rehabilitation and complete smile makeover as well as TMJ pain-related cases.
Shawn is one of our hygienists and was born and raised in Hawaii. She graduated with honors, receiving her BEd, MEd, BS, and RDH degreesfrom the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Highly skilled, she believes in comprehensive care with a conservative and caring approach.
Audra is one of our hygienists and was also born and raised in Hawaii. Her experience and great personality make for a terrific fit for our practice. She earned her BS and RDH degrees from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is an active member of both the Hawaii Dental Hygiene Association and the American Dental Hygiene Association. Always striving for clinical excellence, she practices hygiene in a comprehensive setting that promotes patient comfort by means of her stress-free approach.

Had teeth cleaned by Audra & gums checked by Dr. Agader. As usual, I enjoyed the visit. In and out pretty quick. Everybody was friendly; the office was super neat and clean!

Is it weird to say that getting your wisdom teeth removed was a pleasant experience? When I got my right side done, everything felt very impersonal. The dentist seemed to be rushing and didn't seem to like the fact that I said I was in pain. Here was a completely different experience. From the time that I called, to the time I walked out, everything felt very comfortable. Dr. Agader was very attentive to my concerns and took my (rather massive) wisdom teeth out. Dental care can be a terrifying experience. If you're used to having a sterile experience and something rather impersonal, then don't worry. Dental Perfections will make you feel very welcomed and comfortable the whole time. Fast, friendly and very informative. 100/10 for sure.

Since the day I moved to Hawaii, Dental Perfections has been there to help me with everything that has come up when it comes to my teeth. The staff is always so friendly, they actually listen and care about what you have to say and your needs, they try really hard to make you feel as comfortable as you can even through the scary procedures. I think what I like the most is they explain the entire situation and they help come up with a plan to get you want you want. I would definitely recommend coming here.

This is the second time I have had work done at dental perfections, both times I had crowns done and I was totally comfortable and was impressed by the professionalism and kindness of dental perfections , The dentist was extremely professional and his staff went above and beyond to take care of my concerns and handled themselves professionally, I've been to a few dentists on the island and dental perfections was absolutely the best place by far, I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for that perfect smile and professional service ! I have been a patient of Dental Perfections for several years. I had multiple dental procedures done, including orthodontics. I am completely satisfied with Dr. Agader's services. He is a true perfectionist! He always explained in great detail everything that was happening with my teeth and all options available. Every time I made a decision, I felt it was a well-informed one. I learned so much about my oral health thanks to his thorough explanations. The staff is very friendly and professional, always accommodating and informative. The office is located at a shopping center with easy access and plenty of parking spaces. I highly recommend Dr. Agader and his team at Dental Perfections.
