Regarding available technology, weve completely computerized our treatment plans and charts so as to ensure a completely paperless experience, which is much more convenient for patients. Plus, we utilize digital X-rays, which allow us to take detailed photographs of your teeth that are instantly accessible on an easy-to-see chairside monitor. Youre even exposed to a significantly smaller amount of radiation when compared to traditional X-rays up to 90% less! We also offer the services of Vizilite Plus, a brand-new method for monitoring possible signs of oral cancer. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Shick has been providing patients with much-needed dental care since 2000. He attended both the University of Pennsylvania and the dental school at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine. A member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Shick has completed extensive aesthetic dentistry training through various programs, and he was named as the top dentist in NYC from 2010-2011. Hes very involved in the NY School dental assisting training program, as well as high school internship programs and hygiene lectures at public elementary schools. He was even featured on the Dr. Oz show in 2011! One of his favorite aspects of his job is helping patients smile with confidence again; their appreciation makes it all worthwhile!
Dr. Jason Tuwas born and raised in Vancouver BC, Canada. He attended the University of British Columbia where he completed his undergraduate degree in Earth & Ocean Sciences. He then moved to New York to pursue a D.D.S at NYU and general practice residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Tu strives to support patients by having honest and straightforward discussions regarding treatment options. He believes in the importance of providing all the necessary information to allow patients to make informed decisions regarding their dental health. His goal is to provide dentistry in a comfortable, compassionate, and gentle setting.
Dr. Jesse Liu graduated cum laude from Cornell University in Chemistry and Chemical Biology in 2013. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (formerly UMDNJ) and completed his General Practice Residency at Hackensack UMC, ranked #1 in NJ by US News and World Report. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Hayley Groglio graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University with a B.S. in Integrative Neuroscience. She went on to receive her DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she was awarded the Jean Weng and Douglas S. Holden Scholarship Award for exemplary academic merit. Dr. Groglio completed her General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Hayley Groglio loves getting to know her patients and strives to deliver high quality care with a personal touch. She wants all of her patients to feel confident with their smiles. In her free time, she enjoys art museums, movies, live music, and an unexpected New York City street fair!

I was raised on Long Island and for decades traveled back there to see a family dentist thinking that I couldn't afford a Manhattan dentist. Imagine my surprise when I found Dr. Shick who accepts dental plans and who is dedicated, caring and an outstanding dentist. Because he is so inclusive everyone seeing him has an opportunity for first rate dental care. He's the nicest person to see and talk with. I wouldn't go to any other dentist now and hope I never have to. Had another appointment 5/3/2022. Same great experience. He takes careful note of every developing problem and follows each one, taking x-rays to see what is going on and ensuring a potential problem doesn't turn into a need for substantial treatment. He's just so wonderful and extraordinary a person. Remarkable equanimity. Saw him again in June, '22 and he made an impression for a crown. Being a perfectionist the crown that came back from the lab because it wasn't a precise fit, he made a new impression to have it redone. He even took an impression of my bite to send to the lab so they will make it perfectly this second time. Never a charge when a remake is necessary. His skill and knowledge and the care he takes distinguish him. Saw him on 7/21/2022 for the remake. Unfortunately, it came back the second time too long. Dr. Shick adjusted it substantially so I could bite together by making a cut in the bottom but chewing was hard. After a month I returned and he removed it and sent it back to the lab and made new impressions and said he would speak to the lab. He said he tried several and the one he uses is the best but they lost many employees. He also fixed another problem while I was there AND THERE WAS NO CHARGE! It wasn't even his fault but that of the lab. Unparalleled. Back on 9/15/2022. The new crown fits and is comfortable. Dr. Schick's talk with the lab proved successful. He masterfully adjusted the crown. Always blown away by his patience and kindness.

Been a patient at Dental Passion for some time now. Always a good experience. They take care to ensure the process is as painless as possible. Most recently I was treated by Dr Lam. She and her staff were knowledgeable. Very thorough not only in the immediate dental work but in checking back through my records to compare current and older X-rays which proved revealing and enhanced the treatment t(crown) this time. Strong recommend from me .

Great local dentist with easy scheduling and on time services. Doctors have been extremely professional and competent. Cleanings, fillings and crowns have all been done perfectly. Doctors spend all the time necessary to explain and it takes my insurance. Great place!

OMG!!!! I love love this dental office. From the front staff are so nice. But my dentist Dr Haly I may be spelling her name wrongShe's so so so amazing!!! I'm a 52yr old woman who did not go to the dentist, lucky to still have my teeth. She may me feel comfortable. I highly recommend Dental Passion!!! Now I look forward to going to the dentist....
