Best dental office experience I've personally ever had! I've had two routine visits and they've both been timely, efficient, and everyone is really friendly.

After accidentally smacking my two front teeth with a coffee mug, I had a pretty small chip in one, but was nonetheless completely devastated I called Dr. Smith's office on a Monday morning and was promptly scheduled for an appointment the following day. Dr. Smith stopped several times throughout my painless procedure to make sure I was happy with the way things were progressing and told me several times that she was happy to keep leveling my tooth out until I was happy with my results. She was even okay with me wearing ear buds to block the noise of the drill during my procedure! I had a lot of dental anxiety going into my appointment, but Dr. Smith and her staff were gentle and all around wonderful for the entire appointment. I will be returning for regular appointments going forward!

I do not recommend this dental practice because of their questionable marketing. Their website offers a $79 fee for new patients. I made an appointment to have my teeth cleaned only to find out after X-rays we're taken that the $79 does not include cleaning. It would be more transparent if their website specifically states that the $79 does not include cleaning and if the person who scheduled my appointment had explained that the fee does not include cleaning since I specifically stated that's why I was calling. I got up and left. I'm sharing this to help other people be aware of the marketing tactics used by this dental practice and others. Another practice I researched indicates a cleaning cost $30 after the fee for exam and x-rays but only if you have no issues. After they get you in the exam room, I'm willing to bet they will always find issues so they can charge you more for an enhanced cleaning you may or may not need. The whole process feels like a "bait and switch" scam. Indeed, I should have read the offer more carefully. But I expect medical practices to be transparent and behave with integrity, rather than luring people in with a cheap marketing tactic that made me feel the business could not be trusted.

Me & my family had went to Dental Partners for about 10years. We LoVED it when Dr.Hazenfield was there. After he left teeth cleanings aren't completed very throughly and the atmosphere has the feel that they don't care and are just there for a paycheck. My husband had went in 2 different times to have teeth extracted that were causing him tremendous pain. The doctor was very rude and pulled the teeth only after my husband demanded it. She wanted to schedule it for a later date even though that was why he was there. After the last extraction my husband experienced more pain from her pulling his tooth than the tooth itself. This office appears to be a revolving door for employees. Rightfully so with the feeling you get as a customer! I received a bill for $35 for my son that hadn't been there in over 6 months. No idea what the bill was for. I paid it and am now looking for a new dentist for me & my family. Would not recommend this practice to anyone.

It is always a positive experience here. Everyone is nice, friendly and the office is clean. Dr. Smith is very caring and thorough. It's low key and not rushed at all, and my dental needs are more than taken care of...very knowledgeable. I have recommended Dental Partners to anyone who asks. October 20,2021 Very good experience today. Hygienist, whose name I sadly didn't get, was extra gentle; I have very very sensitive teeth. For that I am so grateful as I was having anxiety before I even got there because of it. Left feeling very good with clean...clean teeth. August 11, 2022 Laquina (sp?) VERY good hygienist. Second or third time she has cleaned my teeth and the experience was awesome despite her being a little late. Taking the time to care for my needs (very sensitive teeth) didn't make her rush to get me out and her on her next appointment. I felt like VERY taken care of. Office staff is always very respectful and friendly.

Front desk exceptional. Hygienist capable, but didn't really listen to my concerns. I waited about a month to get this appointment for a cleaning, which I didn't get. Instead I got delayed until September for a deep cleaning, which I undoubtedly need, but since it has been over 2 years since I had any cleaning, it would have been nice to have received the simple cleaning now. Dentist capable and provided a couple of options, but even though I need a filling and possibly an extraction, I can't get anything done until September. I may or may not go back.

Susan King... my recent visit with Dental Partners was disappointing and upsetting. I had gone for a regular cleaning and expected x-rays and a visit with the dentist. Dr. Smith looked at my teeth and informed me that I needed deep cleaning in several places. I asked if this was an extra expense, yes it was. I could not afford an extra expense at this time and said so, and that I would just like to have a regular cleaning. Dr. Smith told me that I was not a candidate for a regular cleaning without the deep cleaning. It would be "professional neglect" to just do a regular cleaning. There was not offer to do a regular cleaning at that time and the deep cleaning at another. No effort to work something out. Her treatment plan was not just recommended, it was demanded. So I left and will not return. I now have no dental care, not even the minimum, because I could not afford the larger expense of the deep cleaning. A friend who works with another dentist in town said this would not been the approach of her office. I was greatly disappointed and upset by the encounter. My intent is to take the best care possible of my teeth within my budget, but in this office, that is not a concern. Susan King

Thanks to some wisdom teeth another dentist chose to leave behind, my oral health declined in the last 10 to 13 years. The snowball effect ruined my smile and I didn't know where or how to begin fixing my mouth. I took a chance and started going to Dr. Smith in 2020. She and her staff have been gentle, clear about every procedure, and haven't shamed me for the state of my teeth. They don't push things on you, and have laid out a treatment plan for me that's slowly bringing my smile back. Restorative dental work, even with insurance, is expensive. However, we tackle what we can with insurance and I get a straight price when I choose to pay out of pocket. It's a process that's taking a few years but I am no longer overwhelmed. With some extractions done by a nearby oral surgeon, Dental Partners has performed permanent and temporary crowns, a root canal, a permanent implant crown, fillings, gum, and tooth cleanings on me. Even the temporary crowns have been impeccable. Because I'm disabled, someone has to drive me to appointments and the location is perfect for South Knoxville and Seymour residents. I do recommend!
