Hello. I am Dr. Matthew David Kennedy. I want to take this opportunity to share with you a very personal story of who I am and what I believe in. I was born in Michigan but spent most of my life in Arizona, where I attended Apollo High School. I have four great kids, aged 10,12,14, and 16, who attend Verrado Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. My hobbies include watching movies, weight training, and coaching my kids' soccer, basketball, and baseball teams. My family is the most important part of my life, and I want you to know that being my patient means being treated like family. My philosophy is simple and timeless: Treat others the way you want to be treated.
I am the first college graduate in my family. I am proud that I put myself through college on scholarship, graduating from Arizona State University in 1999 with a B.S. in biology. I was fortunate enough to attend the prestigious University of California San Francisco Dental School, graduating in 2003.
I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a dentist. As a child, I had numerous dental problems and had a great dentist who sparked my interest in the field. I enjoy mastering all aspects of dentistry today, staying at the forefront of the technology and gentle dentistry procedures and I take immense pride in what I have achieved.

When you come to Main Street Dental you get all the extra touches to make you comfortable and relaxed while you sit in our chairs to get treated, This means you can choose to watch a movie, get a massage in our ergonomical chairs, for kids we offer an arcade with over 1500 games to play, To further help place you at ease, I use and Intra-oral camera for all exams and most procedures, This allows you to see what treatments is needed and also permits for better communication,
My patients are my family, and family is the most important part of my life! My patients know that they can ask me anything without worry which allows them to be involved in their dental health. I am dedicated to raising my family in Verrado, and I hope to grow together as a community. See you soon!

Having Aetna dental helps with out of pocket price because I am self employed and pay cash. Convenient because it's right by my house.

I absolutely love Main Street Dental! My family and I have been coming here since we moved to AZ and all the staff have always been nice and accommodating. The hygienists are friendly and thorough and Dr. Kennedy is very professional and thorough with explaining treatment. We are so happy we found this office!

The dental care I have received at Dental on Main has been excellent. However the pressure to have cosmetic dentistry and to replace crowns that are not as well made as they could be, but are still serving well, in addition to insurance issues and rude staff at check out, have me seriously considering finding a new dentist. Every time I go there, I come out angry and promising myself a new dentist. Then I always calm down and think of their high level of dental care.

Had to edit since a lot has changed. A previous dentist who was great, left. The main dentist is nice, but then used scare tactics to try to get me to have work done that I definitely did not need. If I was less informed or easily swayed I would have done it. He didnt push it, but definitely went for the scare tactics. Stunningly, after he left the tech gave the 'money' symbol and said that's what it's all about. The advice given was in total contradiction to what the previous doctor who left advised. Once I went in and told the aide I was nervous about some work, and he immediately went into stabbing and pain jokes while showing the dental tools. Mr. Loud is still the rudest surgeon I've come across. AVOID dental work by him! He pulled a tooth of mine before it was fully numb, and left it at the back of my throat for a good 30 seconds where I felt like I was starting to choke. This is not just a negative review. But informative of my experiences. The office staff was always nice and the rooms were clean, and they offer music of your preference while waiting or having work done. I've given it a couple chances since the calm friendly and non pushy dentist left, but I can't go again after my experiences.

This is a great dental office. The entire staff is really friendly and professional. Dr Kennedy is always so pleasant and never rushes you if you have questions. I would keep coming here even if I did not live in Verrado.

Diane the hygienist is wonderful. Office manager and front desk staff lack. I recently moved here and had a need for an implant (stem already there) and two fillings replaced. After my first exam I was told they would call my previous dentist for records. I waited and after about 2 months (time does fly). I had to call them to reschedule. When I went in for the implant I was told the bone had grown over the stem and that I'd have to come back on a Monday. I asked if it was like that when I first visited and the office manager said no. Upset that I'm the one who had to call and now I had this issue, I wanted to know if insurance would cover the added procedure. The office manager threw an employee under the bus saying she wasn't doing her job and they had to let her go. She then told me that she would call my insurance company about the procedure cost and call me back. I never heard back from her. I kept my regular cleaning appt but won't be going back. They are good if you have nothing but cleaning needs. Service is a HUGE part of picking a dentist and they failed in this area. *** Update: Dr. Kennedy called me personally to address my concerns. He went above to make it right!! Thank you Dr Kennedy for listening and caring!! I've updated my rating to 5 stars! For Dr Kennedy to reach out directly to apologize and make it right speaks volumes to how important his patients are!

The staff here are very accomodating and make you feel welcome. I usually don't like cleanings but my dental hygenist, Kayla, made it a smooth and easy process. I would not hesitate to come back here and would recommend it to friends and family.

I've been coming here for a few months now and am very happy with my experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming each time I come in. The dental assistants are also very helpful in answering any questions I have and making sure I'm comfortable. I've had some work done by both dentists and I would recommend either to my friends and family. Both were aware of my dental anxiety and made sure that I was relaxed and calm before starting any work. Both are great conversationalists as well so that helped a lot with my nerves. The work I had done was thorough, quick and painless, which is all I want out of my dental work. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Highly recommend!

I would rather go to a random stranger and pay them 500$ for them to pull my teeth out. Horrible service, and unprofessional doctors. They treat their assistants like dirt beneath their feet and are clearly just in it for the money. If I could rate it 0 stars I would.

Top notch service & very safe/easy Covid protocol. Dentist was great and the hygienist was friendly too! Main Street Dental was recommended to me by co-workers for my kids but I will continue using them for our adult cleanings too. Great experience!

Dr. Kennedy and the Main Street Dental team are by far the best in the business! I've been a patient here for several years and have always appreciated how honest and professional they have always been. I needed some cosmetic work done to enhance my smile and came into Dr. Kennedy's practice years ago thinking I was going to need veneers, but instead he consulted me on different options I had that would work best for me and my teeth. The route I went with was so much more affordable, less of a procedure and my smile has never looked better! I've always appreciated the honesty and have never felt like they were out to get my money.

So far not liking it. Waiting for half an hour for Dr. to come and examine after cleaning. Dont wear shorts cause youll be sweating in the chair.
