Dr. Bartolome grew up in the Greater Sacramento Area. She graduated Cum Laude from California State University, Sacramento. With honors, she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she was the Recipient of the Award for Excellence in Clinical and Patient Management.
Dr. Swearingen grew up in Northern California and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed a general practice residency program at Balboa Hospital in San Diego in 1976 and spent the next four years serving as a dentist in the Navy at Atsugi, Japan.
Dr. Bartolome completed courses with the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Swearingen completed courses at the Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry. Both Doctors have taken several other highly acclaimed training courses related to cosmetic dentistry in order to stay informed of the new developments in the cosmetic dental field. As a result, they have established themselves as a select group of dentists in Northern California able to provide state-of-the-art cosmetic dental procedures.
Dr. Bartolome and Dr. Swearingen are members of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as well as the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, California Dental Association and the Sacramento District Dental Society. Dr. Swearingen is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists. In order to be an even better dentist, he followed that with an optional residency program at Balboa Hospital in San Diego. He then practiced family dentistry in the U.S. Navy for four years while stationed at Atsugi, Japan on a US Naval Air Base.
In 1980, he began his civilian career in Citrus Heights and has been practicing there ever since. Dr. Swearingen has developed a flourishing dental practice founded on providing dental care of the highest quality. He has always far exceeded all requirements for continuing education and in recent years has taken numerous courses at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. As a result, he has established himself as one of a select group of dentists in Northern California able to provide state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Swearingen resides with his wife, Robyn, in Granite Bay, California. They enjoy many activities together and are loyal Sacramento Kings fans. They especially enjoy their relationships with their children and grandchildren.

Dr. Bartolome's commitment to excellence and integrity in character stems from her family upbringing as well as from her martial arts background. She is a fourth degree black belt in taekwondo. She currently lives is Roseville and loves spending time with her husband, son, and little dog.
