Dr. Lezli is the co-founder of Dental Kidz. She grew up in Westchester County, NY and is a dual citizen of the United States and Jamaica.She graduated with a B.A. in English from Spelman College in Atlanta and received her dental education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Lezli completed her advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, an affiliate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NYwhere she was also a chief resident. During her studies at Bronx Lebanon Hospital she received extensive training treating children under sedation and general anesthesia. Dr. Lezli received additional training at theRose F. Kennedy University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities in NY on addressing the unique needs of medically compromised and special needs patients.
Dr. Lezli is a member of the medical staff at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, and is the oral healthcare advisor to the Newark Preschool Council, the largest Headstart program in the state of NJ. She is also a member of the New Jersey Pediatric Oral Health Coalition, is on the dental advisory board for United Healthcare of NJ, and is a board member of Wynonas House, a non-profit organization that among many things provides comprehensive mental health and medical services for sexually and severely physically abused children that are residents of Essex County, NJ.
Dr. Lezli is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is board certified. She has been selected by parents as one of NJ's Favorite Kids' Docs by NJ Family Magazine for the past four years. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Her special interests are the prevention of childhood obesity and increasing awareness of oral health and its impact on overall health. Dr. Lezli lives in Essex County with her husband Chris and their 5 lovely daughters.

TODAY WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. NOT ONLY DID DYLAN ENJOY THE NEW LOOK OF THE OFFICE (new mirrors, fun wall and tvs) GETTING OFF THE ELEVATOR TOTALLY HAD HIM SMILING WITH THE BLUE RUNWAY CARPET. HE WAS SOOOO EXCITED TO SEE THE STAFF. MS. KEILA PUT ON DYLANS FAVORITE MOVIE (turning red!) MS. JAVI ALWAYS MAKES DYLAN DAY A LITTLE BRIGHTER (he likes her) MS. OLGA ALWAYS MAKE SURE HE IS SUPER COMFY WHEN ITS TIME FOR X-RAYS (thank you) DR LEZLI WAS VERY PATIENT WITH HIM. DYLAN IS VERY NERVOUS, DR LEZLI ALLOWED HIM TO TAKE A BREATHER,REGROUP AND CALM DOWN. I've been a patron of Dental Kidz for 8 years, and I recently moved 45 minutes away. So I was asked by a family member if I would be moving my kids to a closer dentist office, right after that was asked all my kids had appointments the same weekend for a cleaning. As we were there for their routine visit the dentist noticed some of my kids needed more treatment. Instead of telling me to schedule appointments to bring them back they did everything for me while we were there! This was a great help to me as I no longer live 5 minutes away but they didn't even know! The staff there are always so nice and the set up there for the children is what I love the most, especially when you have more than one child. Thank you dental Kidz for being in my children's life for as long as you have and you'll continue to see us!

Dental kids has been my son dentist since he little boy , from there on they have been doing a great job making sure his teeth is well taken care of , they always make sure his teeth is healthy and no cavities, also they did a tremendous job when my son tooth came out and every visit they will monitor to see when it was time to put a cap so it can it in place until the new teeth comes. Bright with lots of space for kids to run around, the main dentist was polite and colorful but one of the receptionist was very rude and short. When reading the charts for my son's exam I asked her to show me the tooth she was talking about she rolled her eyes and just repeated what was written on the paper . When we went to the front to make the follow up appointments she mentioned she had a headache and didn't want to be here to her coworkers. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 starts
