Dr. Baker actually grew up with a father who was an orthodontist, and he started working for him when he was still a kid, lending a helping hand in the lab. This early exposure to the oral healthcare world ignited the first sparks of curiosity, and it wasnt too long before he knew he would walk down a similar path in life. In fact, he ended up working at an inner-city hospital to put himself through dental school, doing emergency blood analyses. Upon graduation, he had no loans, which allowed him to start his own dental office without delay. The rest, they say, is history.
After attending Utah State University for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Baker attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1977. Ever since then, hes pursued plenty of continuing education courses so that he can stay up to date with the latest technologies and techniques in dentistry. Some of his areas of focus include metal-free restorative work, orthodontics with clear braces, and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Baker has five wonderful grown daughters, as well as 14 grandchildren who range from the pre-teens all the way down to babies. When he isnt busy caring for patients, his biggest hobby is traveling. Hes taken a Baltic cruise and a trans Panama Canal cruise over the years, along with rafting on the Colorado River and hiking/camping at Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon. He even took his children (when they were still young) on a month-long trip to Germany, Austria, Italy, and Slovenia they traveled in a rented van! His other interests include riding his motorcycle and skiing.
Dr. Peterson chose to become a dentist after falling in love with the sciences, specifically, Biology, from a young age. He found that Dentistry was a perfect way to stay involved with science and do what he enjoys the most, helping people. Dr. Peterson found he had a natural talent for dentistry and wanted to serve his community by providing world-class dental care for everyone.
'I want to educate people about the best option for restoring patients to their optimum dental health. It is important for me that patients understand what condition their teeth are in, how they got where they are, and what we can do to help restore or maintain their dental health. I work to get the patient out of pain, remove any disease condition from the mouth, and return or maintain dental function. I also try to help patients understand the consequences of their dental decisions and the importance of the mouth for overall medical health.'
Dr. Peterson hails from Basin City, Washington, and graduated from Connell High School. After graduating High School, Dr. Peterson went directly to Brigham Young University then to the Temple University School of Dentistry shortly after. In addition to being a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry, Dr. Peterson has also actively pursued additional education and is Invisalign certified, and is also a member of the American Orthodontic Society.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Peterson is a devout family man and enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and four daughters. Always up for a new challenge, he enjoys running and staying healthy, playing basketball, volleyball, swimming, etc. A man of many talents, Dr. Peterson loves music and art and plays the piano, guitar, and saxophone.He enjoys the outdoors and goes hiking, exploring nature, and flying his drone on hikes. As Dr. Peterson says, 'Everything is more fun if I include my wife and children in my hobbies.'

Dental Innovations is a wonderfully well operated strong team of professionals that are at the top of there game. They made me feel more than comfortable and helped work out every aspect of later deciding to pull my bottom right molar. Great work and I didn't even have an appointment but saw I was in dyer need so they fit me in for surgery that day. Dr Peterson and all of his associates served me better than i've ever been treated in any medical facility. They really are passionate and care about what they do. My back molar was in bad shape and now it's gone with very little pain that was very well managed. If your on the edge of which office to use for your dental situation rest assure this is the office in which to use. Dental Innovation has been the best choice in dental care I have made. The dental care is handled fully as the professionals that they are, not just the orale care but the care and concerns of the patients needs or request. I've had the best experience at Dental Innovation out of all the dental facilities in Northern Arizon that I have been a patient to in the past. The staff is always super welcoming, friendly, always performing at their best. The establishment is clean and safe. Even with masks on you can see a the smiles. I'm a truck driver and was having pain in one of my teeth I called them at 8am and they had me right in,they did an x-ray and called in my prescription at the Walmart which is right behind them this place is awesome!! thank you to everyone you guys rock!!!

Had to have an emergency tooth extraction. I have a phobia of needles but the dentist was so quick I really didn't notice it to much. Best dentist I have been to in years.
