As a dentist, Dr. Arwood makes her patients feel safe and comfortable. She believes in treating the patient as a whole entity and not just a tooth. It is very important for her to educate patients and encourage overall health for the mouth, body, and mind. Dr. Arwood is a member of the International Consortium on EDS and HSD.
Outside of the office, Dr. Arwood is passionate about exercise and living a healthy lifestyle. She loves the endless mountain bike trails and skiing that Alaska has to offer. Since moving to Alaska, Dr. Arwood has tried many new Alaskan activities, including fishing and flying. Dr. Arwood spends a lot of time with her Malti-poo, Miska, who you can often see hanging around the office.
Kelly Lucas, DDS graduated from Oklahoma University, College of Dentistry in 1985. After graduating, Dr. Kelly Lucas returned to the great state of Alaska to serve the Indian Health Service in Dillingham for two years before establishing his private practice there. Starting in 1989, he served with the Alaska Army National Guard, including as a Public Health Service Officer and the Guards Alaska Dental Surgeon General. Moving to Wasilla in 1995 with his wife and two sons, Dr. Lucas has served the Wasilla community continuously for the last 24 years. Dr. Lucas is a proud member of the following:
