Dr. Ahmed joined Dental Innovations in 2008 to provide high quality dental care. Since then he has continued his education with courses in implant dentistry, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. He has received a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and continues to study best practices and new techniques in all aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Ahmed enjoys the artistry of dentistry, as well as the knowledge of cutting edge science and techniques for incredible results. To create a beautiful smile, perfect teeth, and a healthy mouth, the artistry is very important. His focus is on providing excellent patient care, serving individuals and families from kids to great-grandparents, in a community-based practice.
He enjoys building relationships and involvement in the communities he serves. Dr. Ahmed shares his interest in art and artists, traveling, and enjoys spending time with his family. Reflecting his passion for motorsports, he recently became a contributor to a national publication for dentists, Incisal Edge, writing reviews of automobiles.
Dr. Ahmed received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, followed by a Doctor of Dental Science from the New York University College of Dentistry. He then attended a General Practice Residency at St. Josephs Hospital in Patterson, New Jersey.
Dr. Stanciu brings 30 years of expertise as a general dentist to Dental Innovations. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of dentistry in 1989 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He and Dr. Ahmed share a friendship that has grown over 15 years, a number of those years spent working together as colleagues. Dr. Stancius undergraduate education was completed at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Engineering where he was accepted into an accelerated curriculum in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He continued to explore his scientific interests and was chosen to join a research team in the Department of Periodontal Pathology and Molecular Biology where cutting-edge research led to discoveries in the field of immunology. As part of his research program, he found himself instructing post-doctoral Dermatology Residents techniques of tissue culturing in the Medical school at the University. Dr. Stanciu understands that continuing education is an essential element for any technical field in order to innovate and progress. He completes courses every year, to remain current with the latest advances. He has received training in the restoration of several implant systems and with Invisalign. Dedicated to patient care, Dr. Stanciu makes every effort to comfort his patients and gain their confidence through his understanding of each individuals needs and desires. When Dr. Stanciu is not chair side caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family. His interests include: cooking, golf, travelling, attending concerts, skiing and astronomy. He met his wife when they were in dental school in Chicago, and they moved to Toledo in 2003 and have 2 daughters.
Kimberly began her dental career in the administrative side of a dental practice in 1999 but realized her great interest in working hands-on with patients. She began assisting and returned to school to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. Kimberly provides our patients with the best care she can by educating them on the best ways to improve and maintain their dental health. She has a particular interest in working with children. Her goal is to lower patients anxiety toward dental treatment and listen to patients concerns.
Tina has recently joined our Perrysburg Dental Innovations team. She has been practicing dental hygiene in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and South Carolina for 30 years. She recently went back to college to further her education earning her Masters of Science degree as well as taking classes in St. Petersburg, Fl at the Dawson DentalAcademy and attending Anesthesia seminars in Chicago Illinois. She enjoys teaching biology and chemistry at the college level as well as teaching her patients about their dental hygiene and the environment that encourages good dental health. Tina volunteers with Dog rescues doing fostering, transporting, surrenders and adoptions. She has 3 rescue dogs of her own. She is a part of a blended family that includes 5 kids and 3 young grandchildren. She enjoys dogs, cooking and baking, nature adventures, tennis, relaxing on the patio with a good book and spending time with her family.
Eva has been a hygienist for 15 years, but just recently joined the team at Dental Innovations. She enjoys working with patients, teaching them proper oral hygiene, finding out about their lives, and putting them at ease in the dental chair.
Tarais our primary accounting business team member and has been with the practice since 2002. She brings experience and expertise to handling accounts in a busy dental office.Tarahas a passion for dentistry and for the great things it can do for people.
Jennifer has been working at Dental Innovations for over 5 years, as an EFDA and Dental Hygienist. Jennifers career first started in the dental field in 2002 by joining the air national guard right out of high school. She stayed in the military for six years as a dental assistant while she was in dental hygiene school at The Ohio State University. After four years, she received a bachelors degree in the Science of Dental Hygiene in 2006 and has been practicing ever since. She enjoys seeing peoples mouth change for the better in overall health and appearance.
She has been a dental assistant for more than 25 years and received her EFDA certificate form Owes Community College in 2012. She loves being a hands-on dental team member and truly enjoys meeting and getting to know new people every day.
Valensciagraduated from Ross Medical Education Center in 2019. She has had the chanceto work with some amazing doctors, meet some amazing patients and see many different procedures. Her overall favorite part is being a part of a team that changes others oral health for the better and giving her patients the inspiration to continue to stay on top of their oral health. In her spare time she loves being surrounded by family and friends, having movie nights and doing activities outdoors.

I am so thankful to the team at Dental Innovations. Everyone I have encountered there has been professional, kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Ahmed is beyond amazing! I had to have an extraction done and I was terrified to say the least. Dr. Ahmed was extremely gentle and I literally could not believe how quickly he removed my tooth. I also had my cleanings done at this office and was very happy with the results! I would very highly recommend this office and team to anyone looking for any kind of dental care. I have had bad experiences at dental offices in the past but no longer feel anxious when going for appointments thanks to Dental Innovations!

First took my daughter to see Dr. Ahmed to get Invisalign, saved me thousands VS. braces, then a couple days ago my 20 year old implant went all wobbly. Dr. Ahmed got me right in, came up with an ingenious fix, took an hour, right as rain now, highly recommend!

They make you feel so welcome and like you're in good hands. Dr. Ahmed and Kara did remarkable job today, great work! I had an old filling needing replaced way in the upper back quadrant, and a chipped tooth in the front. They were attentive, gentle and it was painless. It was a piece of cake, very relaxed in the chair, I took a little nap here and there throughout the whole process. Dr. Ahmed and Kara were very thorough. Kara she was very detailed in making sure the fillings were perfectly fitting when biting down. They could not have done a better job! Dr. Ahmed very nice and caring, he looked over everything after. Then he went the extra mile and smoothed out my other rough spots, had some jagged edges around my other teeth near the chipped tooth and while he was at it he got those too. I really appreciated that, looks/feels great, so much better! Thank you so much for taking such good care of me! Dental Innovations always does their best every time, would never go anywhere else!

I've been a patient at Dental Innovations for several years now. I moved out of town two years ago, and now I drive the hour and a half each way to see Dr. Ahmed rather than find another dentist. And I tried for a little bit, but everywhere else I've ever been my dental anxiety was so intense that I would dread going in, and I'd be exhausted afterward. Dr. Ahmed is a competent, caring professional (and I've had trouble finding both of those attributes in the same medical provider) who makes you feel at ease in his care. All of the hygienists and receptionists are likewise. The environment is pleasant and comfortable. The entire place is filled with bright and cheerful art, and it really helps take my mind off of the anxiety. Many of the paintings were even done by Dr. Ahmed himself! I don't have dental insurance, and they show understanding and respect for this by always telling me how much a procedure will cost when I schedule it, and by working to preserve my natural tooth structure first, only removing material when really necessary. Dental Innovations is a practice that understands my needs and works to make sure that they are met.

Tina is an excellent and knowledgeable hygienist with over 30 years of experience and she was happy to answer any questions I had. The decor and the Star Wars murals are also really cool! I was having issues with getting into my dentist. I had a dental emergency with an infection behind a crown. Antibiotics couldn't get to the infection since it was behind the crown. I was in pain all weekend. I called every dentist near me on Monday and either they didn't take my insurance or they didn't have any appointments available, even for emergencies. When I called Dental Innovations, they got me right in, an hour after I called. It was my first time there. I highly recommend them. The staff were very friendly and the dentist were very caring.

I attached a picture of my tooth to show what another dentist wouldn't remove and what this dentist knew needed to be removed right away! If I could give a million stars, I would! I went here for an emergency appointment for my severely infected wisdom tooth. I called on a Friday, they got me in Monday and had my tooth removed the same day! I should also mention I had already taken over 30 antibiotics. I wont get into detail on what i went through for weeks with another dentist that was scared of my tooth and literally left me to suffer if you want to know where NOT to go my review is on here for corner dental maumee.... but I was physically ill and in severe pain by the time I got to Dr. Ahmed and he actually CARED, the whole staff cared! They were all so kind and comforting! This was my 1st situation like this so I was very nervous and they made me feel relaxed and it was very quick! Im so grateful for this place and dentist my health was declining I could barely talk right, I could barely eat and they helped me immediately!! Thank you so much! Its been 8 days since the extraction and I am healing great :) it feels so good to smile and laugh again which I could not do! I HIGHLY recommend Dental Innovations!

Today I was new patient and it was easy breezy! Myranda was my Hygienist and she was friendly and very easy going. It was an overall great experience, the staff seems to really care and are all very friendly. The office is clean and updated. I would recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Not only is he a great dentist but he hires great staff. I know because I once was his office manager and witnessed first hand the compassionate and professional care of the patients by Doctors Ahmed and Stanciu and their staff. To this day my family and and I are his patients and will continue to be!!

I'm a dental chicken. I have been turned away by dentists because I shake so badly. This was my first visit and I had Inna as the hygienist, she has majic fingers best and nicest cleaning I ever had, can say enough and the dentist was very knowledgeable, warm and friendly, they do not push procedures you don't need. In short, moved to new town have new dentist!
