Dr. Ahmed joined Dental Innovations in 2008 to provide high quality dental care. Since then he has continued his education with courses in implant dentistry, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. He has received a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and continues to study best practices and new techniques in all aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Ahmed enjoys the artistry of dentistry, as well as the knowledge of cutting edge science and techniques for incredible results. To create a beautiful smile, perfect teeth, and a healthy mouth, the artistry is very important. His focus is on providing excellent patient care, serving individuals and families from kids to great-grandparents, in a community-based practice.
He enjoys building relationships and involvement in the communities he serves. Dr. Ahmed shares his interest in art and artists, traveling, and enjoys spending time with his family. Reflecting his passion for motorsports, he recently became a contributor to a national publication for dentists, Incisal Edge, writing reviews of automobiles.
Dr. Ahmed received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, followed by a Doctor of Dental Science from the New York University College of Dentistry. He then attended a General Practice Residency at St. Josephs Hospital in Patterson, New Jersey.
Dr. Stanciu brings 30 years of expertise as a general dentist to Dental Innovations. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of dentistry in 1989 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He and Dr. Ahmed share a friendship that has grown over 15 years, a number of those years spent working together as colleagues. Dr. Stancius undergraduate education was completed at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Engineering where he was accepted into an accelerated curriculum in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He continued to explore his scientific interests and was chosen to join a research team in the Department of Periodontal Pathology and Molecular Biology where cutting-edge research led to discoveries in the field of immunology. As part of his research program, he found himself instructing post-doctoral Dermatology Residents techniques of tissue culturing in the Medical school at the University. Dr. Stanciu understands that continuing education is an essential element for any technical field in order to innovate and progress. He completes courses every year, to remain current with the latest advances. He has received training in the restoration of several implant systems and with Invisalign. Dedicated to patient care, Dr. Stanciu makes every effort to comfort his patients and gain their confidence through his understanding of each individuals needs and desires. When Dr. Stanciu is not chair side caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family. His interests include: cooking, golf, travelling, attending concerts, skiing and astronomy. He met his wife when they were in dental school in Chicago, and they moved to Toledo in 2003 and have 2 daughters.
Kimberly began her dental career in the administrative side of a dental practice in 1999 but realized her great interest in working hands-on with patients. She began assisting and returned to school to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. Kimberly provides our patients with the best care she can by educating them on the best ways to improve and maintain their dental health. She has a particular interest in working with children. Her goal is to lower patients anxiety toward dental treatment and listen to patients concerns.
Tina has recently joined our Perrysburg Dental Innovations team. She has been practicing dental hygiene in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and South Carolina for 30 years. She recently went back to college to further her education earning her Masters of Science degree as well as taking classes in St. Petersburg, Fl at the Dawson DentalAcademy and attending Anesthesia seminars in Chicago Illinois. She enjoys teaching biology and chemistry at the college level as well as teaching her patients about their dental hygiene and the environment that encourages good dental health. Tina volunteers with Dog rescues doing fostering, transporting, surrenders and adoptions. She has 3 rescue dogs of her own. She is a part of a blended family that includes 5 kids and 3 young grandchildren. She enjoys dogs, cooking and baking, nature adventures, tennis, relaxing on the patio with a good book and spending time with her family.
Eva has been a hygienist for 15 years, but just recently joined the team at Dental Innovations. She enjoys working with patients, teaching them proper oral hygiene, finding out about their lives, and putting them at ease in the dental chair.
Tarais our primary accounting business team member and has been with the practice since 2002. She brings experience and expertise to handling accounts in a busy dental office.Tarahas a passion for dentistry and for the great things it can do for people.
Jennifer has been working at Dental Innovations for over 5 years, as an EFDA and Dental Hygienist. Jennifers career first started in the dental field in 2002 by joining the air national guard right out of high school. She stayed in the military for six years as a dental assistant while she was in dental hygiene school at The Ohio State University. After four years, she received a bachelors degree in the Science of Dental Hygiene in 2006 and has been practicing ever since. She enjoys seeing peoples mouth change for the better in overall health and appearance.
She has been a dental assistant for more than 25 years and received her EFDA certificate form Owes Community College in 2012. She loves being a hands-on dental team member and truly enjoys meeting and getting to know new people every day.
Valensciagraduated from Ross Medical Education Center in 2019. She has had the chanceto work with some amazing doctors, meet some amazing patients and see many different procedures. Her overall favorite part is being a part of a team that changes others oral health for the better and giving her patients the inspiration to continue to stay on top of their oral health. In her spare time she loves being surrounded by family and friends, having movie nights and doing activities outdoors.
