Dr. Jared Montano was born and raised in Gallup and is now glad to be able to contribute to the community that has given him so much growing up. He graduated with honors from both Gallup High School and New Mexico State University. Outside of the office, Dr. Montano enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife, Erin, and working on his family ranch.
Dr. Montano attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of MissouriKansas City School of Dentistry and joined Dental Innovations in June of 2012. Dr. Montano is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Mexico Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In addition to general dentistry, Dental Innovations has Gallup, New Mexico, orthodontist Dr. Randy Simonsen. A native of Richfield, Utah, Dr. Simonsen completed his undergraduate studies at Utah State University, earning a degree in biology. He then attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class. Since 1980, he has been a practicing orthodontist in St. George, Utah. Randys orthodontic training was completed at the University of Rochester, Eastman Dental Center.
As an orthodontist, Dr. Simonsen specializes in preventive orthodontics and early treatment (before a patient has all their permanent teeth). He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists.
Now in his 40th year of marriage, Dr. Simonsen has seven children and 13 grandchildren. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time on his ranch in northern Utah and being active in local church and community projects.
As newest addition to Dental Innovations, Dr. Erin Montano is excited to contribute her services as a general dentist and provider of BOTOX and cosmetic dental treatments. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Erin graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University with a major in studio art and biology and went on to receive her dental degree from the University of MissouriKansas City School of Dentistry where she met her wonderful husband, Dr. Jared Montano. She is a current member of the New Mexico Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
For Dr. Erin, dentistry is a way to restore a patients confidence not only in themselves but also in the field itself, through active listening and implementation of the newest products and technologies. She enjoys working with kids of all ages, special needs patients and those with dental fears and anxiety.
In addition to her love of treating patients, Dr. Erin enjoys spending time with family and friends, painting in her studio, watching Cardinals baseball and learning the ins and outs of her husbands family cattle ranch.

Ok. First, I hate dentists. Really, truly am scared to death. However, my first visit here was due to an emergency as I had broken part of my tooth. I arrived, and was seen almost immediately. They could tell I was a jumble of nerves and took the time to explain exactly how and what was going to be done. I was numbed up really well, to the point that I didn't feel a thing. I mean nothing! My fears started to disappear and I ended up making another appointment for a routine exam/cleaning. I had to wait 2 months and in that time my fears came back 10 fold! When I walked through the door they could tell I was a total basket case. I asked for numbing and the hygienist looked at me and said, "They didn't say anything about numbing you. We don't have time for that." I broke out in a sweat. My hands got clammy. I felt faint. But to shorten the story, I allowed her to take x-rays and look around in my mouth. I ended up getting an excellent cleaning and polishing...without any numbing! It took a while (I hadn't seen a dentist in about 18 years). Yes, I still have my teeth...no dentures. My experience was exceptional and I already have my next 6 month checkup scheduled. I am brave now. Thank you to Dental Innovations and in particular, Cathy. For whom I will be forever grateful . I highly recommend this business.

I am deathly afraid of dentist but they are awesome. Everyone was so kind and helpful and made me feel safe. Thank you for all you do. Please everyone if you need any dental work go see them and Dental Innovations.

Clean, friendly and professional! Dr. Montano and his staff always take great care of us. I know we are in good hands with him and any of his staff. They make my kids very relaxed for their appointments too. The office is clean and comfortable and that adds to a great experience at Dental Innovations. Thankful we have him in town!

Dr. Montano is not only professional and great at what he does, but he is kind, down to earth, and patient! He is thorough and listens to what you want and will never do more work than you are willing to have. I have taken in my 4 rowdy boys at the same time for exams and cleanings and they ask to go back to the dentist every time we pass his office. His staff is always accommodating to me and my family. I highly recommend his services.

I took my oldest here for braces. The guy comes in once a month for about a week which is fine and the people here are relatively friendly but just very inefficient. Each time I come I wait 30-40 minutes just to be called back. We keep having billing issues and no one knows what's going on. Luckily we go to rainaldi for our preventative stuff. I probably won't bring my younger kids here should they need braces. We haven't had any issues with the braces so far and they've done a good job of straightening her teeth but we will be coming here for a while because of the amount of work she needs and I'm not looking forward to it. Another thing that I've noticed is they touch everything in the room with gloved hands after they've been in my kids mouth. Edit: I would like to add to this as I appreciate that the staff reached out both online and in person to help resolve my issues. I've adjusted my star rating up as I think that companies who follow up deserve to be recognized. I hope they continue to follow these practices as there are many businesses in Gallup that could learn from them.

This place is wonderful and very inviting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have had a lot dental work done and do not like the dentist. I tried this place and they were very understanding of my fears and would stop and ask me how I was doing to make sure I was ok.

The people working here treated me with such friendliness it was amazing. Jarrod explained everything about my dental problems. He then explained all my options. He then took care of my problem in his chair like the pro he is!! Great place to get any and all dental work done.
