Dr. Amanda J. Foust has proudly served the people of Ankeny since 2006. She earned her BS in Psychology from the University of Iowa, and she also received her dental degree from U of I College of Dentistry. Since opening her own practice, she has dedicated herself to compassionate and personalized care. Dr. Foust cares for the complete well-being of her patients, not just for their dental health. She provides conservative care and strives to make her patients feel comfortable and relaxed in the dental chair. She also loves talking to her patients and learning new things about them.
Dr. Foust is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Iowa Dental Association (IDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Des Moines District Dental Society. Dr Foust strongly values continual learning and continuing education. She obtained her AGD Fellowship in Fall 2019.
In her free time, Dr. Foust enjoys spending time with her husband and her two daughters. She also likes playing with her dogs, Lucy and Ronin, reading, shopping, and biking. Her favorite movie isThe Princess Bride.
Stephanie graduated from Des Moines Area Community College in 2001 and joined our team in 2017 as a registered dental assistant. Stephanie obtained her expanded functions certification and regularly performs dental hygiene demonstrations at local elementary schools. She loves the opportunity to meet new people and help her patients smile and looks forward to learning about her patients and their families. Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and daughter, watching Hawkeye games, and hanging out with her friends, family, and neighbors. Her favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast, and she loves the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Elizabeth joined our team in 2020, and graduated from Vatterott College with her Registered Dental Assistant degree in 2012. Shes since completed special certifications in CPR. Elizabeth worked in public health for over five years, and also does charity work through her church whenever possible. She loves working with our team, and looks forward to getting to know each of our patients and having a good laugh with them. When not in the office, Elizabeth likes canvas painting, scrapbooking, hanging out with her five kids, playing ping pong, and card games!
Melissa graduated in 1988 and joined our front office team in 2020. Shes also earned certifications as a medication aide. She loves everything about her job, and enjoys working with patients and helping them on their journey to a healthier smile. When not in the office, she volunteers her time with Panora Pets, a no-kill shelter. Her hobbies include chalk painting, as well as remodeling and renovating older things. Her favorite quote is:The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.
Stephanie graduated from Hawkeye Community in 2010 and joined our practice in 2022. Our patients love her thoroughness and her friendly personality. A highlight of her job is getting to know patients and building relationships with them over time. She finds immense satisfaction in helping them attain optimal oral health. When shes not at work, you can find her spending time with family, 4-wheeling, swimming, or vacationing in Florida.
Bobbi Jo graduated from Des Moines Area Community College with honors and joined our practice in 2022 as a Dental Hygienist. She genuinely cares about her patients and their families and loves seeing her relationships with them evolve. She lives with her husband and their children as well as her cat, Piper. When she isnt at work, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Dr. Foust and her staff are always kind and courteous. It feels weird to say you get to know your dental hygienist, but they do take time to get to know you even while working on your teeth efficiently. I highly recommend them for anyone's dental needs.

Great experience all around. Bobbie Jo was awesome! Loved how she took my blood pressure on my forearm vs above the elbow. She has now convinced me to get floride everytime I go vs. every other. Dr. Faust is great - isn't out to spend your money unless absolutely necessary- always thorough and personable. I have been a patient since 2006.
