Dr. Kaur opened Dental Implants and Periodontology of Massapequa in 2014. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She earned her doctorate of dental sciences and then completed her residency in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Kaur was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the national dental honor society) in 2004. She received the Master Clinician Award in Periodontics during her residency. She also runs The South Nassau Womens Dentist Study Club. She has presented at various conferences nationally and internationally.
Dr. Kaur is committed to her profession and is known by her patients for her kind and gentle manner. A resident of Massapequa, she is married to Tej Sing, a neurologist and they have two sons, Jason and Navi.
Dental Implants and Periodontology of Massapequa would like to take this opportunity to welcome Dr. Kenneth Gewant to our Practice. Prior to joining us, Dr. Gewant ran his own successful periodontal practice where he performed all phases of periodontics and dental implantology for over 27 years. Dr. Gewant has practiced as a specialist in periodontology and dental implantology for over 37 years. He uses a minimally invasive approach to implant surgery, which is more comfortable for patients post-operatively. In addition, Dr.Gewant has extensive experience in treating gingival recession using Alloderm grafting material. This can lead to dramatic improvements in cosmetic outcomes, as well as in long-term periodontal health.
Dr. Gewant earned his Bachelors degree from Stony Brook University in 1977 and went on to complete his D.M.D. degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1981. Dr. Gewant then earned his Postgraduate Certificate in Periodontics, also from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, in 1984. He is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Nassau County Dental Society, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Northeastern Society of Periodontists.. Dr. Gewant has been happily married for over 31 years and has one daughter. He is an avid woodworker and fitness buff.

I am always greeted with smiles. The office is clean and well staffed. I feel comfortable and am extremely grateful to everyone for taking good care of my mouth and my teeth. If you are in need of a periodontist you should definitely give the office a call you will be thankful. 10 stars

Office was very new & modern. The dentists chair and equipment was all new & up to date. Dr. Kaur was very professional and did a good job extracting my tooth. She charged a reasonable fee for the extraction. Would use her again, if needed.

Office is Very PROFESSIONAL. Dr. Was very pleasant & explained to my husband exactly what is wrong & how he is going to correct his gum problem. The girls at front desk were very pleasant & professional. My husband forget to bring in his referral into office & the girls there went above & beyond to obtain papers from his dentist. Would highly recommend this office to everyone. 5 stars !!!!!!

I knew Dr Kaur from an other office. Dr Kaur has great bed side manners. She patiently explains all procedures and takes time to listen to her patients. My only little issue is the reception desk takes time to acknowledge you when you entered but they are very nice and warm.

I chose to come here based on reviews, although it is out of network for me and it did not disappoint. I love the clean and comfortable environment and all the staff are respectful and pleasant. My first appointment was a consultation with Kenneth Gewant and one of the residents. Dr. Gewant was very professional and funny. He clearly explained the options I have to restore my cracked tooth and the future care that would be necessary in either case. He also measured my gum depth and recommended an appropriate treatment. I came back one week later and then again today, and had scaling and root planing done by Lisa. She was very effective and each side took just under an hour. They numb your gums and put novocaine, usually that is pretty unpleasant but she was very gentle. The actual treatment was 95% painless. Afterward I did not have much discomfort. My teeth look and feel so much healthier thanks to her and she explained how to maintain that very well. I will update with my implant experience really looking forward to that.

Today I had bone augmentation surgery with Dr Kaur. She was excellent, as were her dental assistants. This wasn't an easy surgery and Dr Kaur took her time, explained everything and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. I had no pain and the procedure was done in an hour even though there was more then she bargained for once she opened up my mouth. Her dental assistant explained everything in detail and was very thorough. My prescriptions were ready when I arrived thanks to the pre planning of this office by sending them over prior to procedure beginning. It was a tough surgery but could not have gone better. Dr Kaur is the quintessential professional and very friendly as well. I would whole heartedly recommend this practice to anyone that needs a difficult dental procedure. Thank you Dr Kaur and staff ! You run a top notch practice.
