Dr. Rajaei earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists (ASPID) at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He also has a dental degree from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines, and a Master of Science degree with a specialty in Prosthodontics from Shiraz University in Iran. Prosthodontics, otherwise known as prosthetic dentistry, is the field of dentistry that specializes in the cosmetic restoration and replacement of teeth. Dr. Rajaei taught in the Prosthodontics department at Azad University in Tehran for four years, and was a faculty member in the Prosthodontics department at the University of Southern California for two years.

Dr. Ahmed was born in Huddersfield, England and moved to the United States in 1987. He attended Barry University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Ahmed graduated with honors from the University of Florida College Of Dentistry. Dr. Ahmed has received additional dental training from the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies.

Dr. Ahmed has served as a host of Leesburg 's 790 AM radio program 'The Tooth, The Whole Tooth, and Nothing But The Tooth'. The show was heard every Saturday morning on the radio and provided dental and oral health information presented in an entertaining manner. Previously, Dr. Ahmed served as the resident dental expert on Orlando 's 580 AM WDBO 's 'Ask the Doctor Show' and was featured on BrightHouse Network 's Wellness Hour program.

Dr. Ahmed volunteers at the Orlando Dental Research Clinic treating indigent, homeless and abused people and is a regularly volunteer for our annual Give Kids A Smile program. This program provides needy children with the dental care they deserve. Dr. Ahmed is a member of the American Dental Association.

Dr. Cueto is a third-generation dentist and received her dental diploma from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL. She has worked in the dental field since 2006 in various positions including administration, patient care and management. Dr. Cueto spent a year treating patients in an underserved community in the Florida panhandle, where access to dental care was limited. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutritional and Food Science from the University of Florida before attending dental school, and loves learning about food and its impact on health.

Dr. Cueto is a true Floridian, and a Jacksonville native. She loves the First Coast community and has volunteered her time at numerous dental events, providing free dental care to the community. When asked what her favorite thing about her job is she replied, I have the unique opportunity to sit down and listen to a patients concern. It is very gratifying to be able to help someone go from pain or sadness, to relief and happiness, all in a matter of a dental visit. I know my colleagues share the same joy in helping people, and its a pleasure to work around such caring and responsible individuals.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Cueto likes to spend time with her fiance visiting new places and exploring! She also likes to spend time with her family and is a yoga enthusiast. She is a member of the Florida Dental Association and the American Dental Association and is fluent in Russian. Dr. Barros graduated from New York University-College of Dentistry top of her class academically, and clinically. She was a Teaching Assistant for two years and taught the new classes how to perform restorative, fixed and removable prosthetic procedures. She received the schools Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial award for demonstrating superior performance in providing oral comprehensive care and administering a dental practice. She also received the Deans Scholarship for demonstrating academic excellence throughout Dental School.

Dr. Shbeb was born in Damascus, Syria and moved to the United States in 2013 with a decade of dentistry under his wing. He attended the University of Aleppo Dental School where he received his Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the OMS hospital in 2013. He progressed to Advanced Education in General Dentistry at New York Langone Hospital where he had postdoctoral training in comprehensive clinical care and management of patients, making him a super-generalist.

Dr. Shbeb is a proud member of the American Dental Association and is most known for his promise to deliver the highest quality of dental care and experience to all patients he has the pleasure of working with. His philosophy is that dental care should never be scary or painful and creates an environment that is welcoming and reassuringly pleasant to all.

Dr. Shbeb participates regularly in education courses in all areas of dentistry to maintain progressive skills in General Dentistry. During his time off, in addition to many outdoor activities, such as soccer, racquetball and table tennis, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Nathaniel Williams, originally from Las Vegas, attended UNLV obtaining a bachelors degree in Chemistry in 2008 and graduated Cum Laude with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2011. He was commissioned into Active-Duty service with the US NAVY upon graduation. He attended a General Practice Residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, working as a general dentist for several years, and completing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in our Nations Capital. Serving in the heart of our Nation and helping to heal our Heroes was a great privilege and experience. He achieved and maintains current board certification with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. While stationed in Jacksonville, FL, Dr. Williams and his family fell in love with North Florida and have made this their home. Completing 10 years of service with the Navy, including humanitarian deployments to much of South America, Dr. Williams has now transitioned to civilian practice and brings a wealth of clinical excellence and experience for his patients.

After remarkable advances in dentistry in recent years, dental implants have become a treatment of choice for people missing one, a few, or all of their teeth, and for those with failing teeth or severe periodontal disease. In 1952, Prof. Per-Ingvar Brnemark of Sweden conducted an experiment where he utilized a titanium implant to better understand blood flow in bone. At the conclusion of the experiment, he discovered that the bone had integrated completely with the implant. Brnemark called the discovery 'osseointegration,' and saw the possibilities for human use.

Modern-day implantology was invented in 1965 when Brnemark treated Gsta Larson, a patient who was missing teeth due to severe chin and jaw deformities. Larsson was the first person in the world to receive titanium dental implants.

After years of careful research and study, dental implants were refined with high success rates. There are patients now who have had implant-supported teeth for more than 40 years! Dental implants have come a long way, and more than 1.7 million dental implants were placed in 2006.
