Dr. Burden received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Medical College of Virginia in 1986. He initially practiced in New York where he gained an extensive knowledge of all aspects of dentistry, including Family Dentistry and Orthodontics. His advanced training includes: Invisalign, ClearCorrect, MDI Mini Dental Implant, the Zimmer Institute Dental Implant Course, Misch International Dental Implant Institute, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (D.O.C.S.) I.V. and Oral Conscious Sedation, and Sleep Therapy.
Dr. Burden moved to Williamsburg, VA in 1992. When hes not caring for his patients, Dr. Burden enjoys an active lifestyle with his grown children which includes traveling, boating, wakeboarding, snowboarding, skiing, weight training and running.
Compared to getting a new denture, partial, or having a traditional bridge made, dental implants in Williamsburg, VA are the only type of restoration that mimics the look and feel of natural teeth. As such, theyve become the gold standard for tooth replacement treatments in modern dentistry.
Non-Invasive to Other Teeth A traditional bridge calls for reshaping healthy virgin teeth on either side of the missing one, permanently altering their structure. Implants are stand-alone restorations that function independently of other teeth.
Enhance Your Facial Profile and Bone Anatomy By design, implants trigger bone development in the area where they are placed. This permanently fuses the implant to the mouth and preserves natural bone height in the jaw, limiting the sunken appearance usually seen after tooth loss.

Dr. Burden and Dr. Barrett have both seen my son Ken....and let me tell you, they are awesome!! My son has needed extensive work due to severe deterioration of his teeth...add to that he absolutely hates going to the dentist and you have a bad situation. However, this staff is so wonderful. My son listens to music to try and relax while being treated. One of his ear buds went out. Dr. Barrett found a spare set of unused ear buds in the office and gave them to my son. Thanks to Rhea and Donna who assisted today, you guys are the best. I cannot say how much I appreciate these folks. We have found our last dentist:)
