Dr. Vipul Patel (Vip for short) grew up in Jersey City, NJ where he attended the prestigious St. Peter's Preparatory High School. He continued his education at SUNY Stonybrook, graduating in 1991 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. Vip graduated from New York University Dental School in 1996 and completed his residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

In 1997, Dr. Patel opened his first practice in Ridgewood, New Jersey and began working as an associate dentist in Goshen, New York in 1998. Dr. Patel fell in love with the close knit Goshen community and purchased the practice in 2001. Church Street Dental Arts was born!

Dr. Patel is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the 9th District Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He obtained his Fellowship status from the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

Dr. Patel is a strong believer of continuing education...not only for himself, but for his entire staff as well. He agrees with the quote, 'The excitement of learning separates youth from old age. As long as you are learning you 're not old'.

Compared to getting a new denture, partial, or having a traditional bridge made, dental implants are the only type of restoration that mimics the look and feel of natural teeth. As such, they've become the gold standard for tooth replacement treatments in modern dentistry.

Non-Invasive to Other Teeth - A traditional bridge calls for reshaping healthy virgin teeth on either side of the missing one, permanently altering their structure. Implants are stand-alone restorations that function independently of other teeth.

Enhance Your Facial Profile and Bone Anatomy - By design, implants trigger bone development in the area where they are placed. This permanently fuses the implant to the mouth and preserves natural bone height in the jaw, limiting the 'sunken' appearance usually seen after tooth loss.
