Dr. Murav utilizes his extensive training and experience to treat even the most challenging dental situations. He has been delivering cosmetic, implant and functional solutions to patients for over 25 years. A big bonus is that Dr. Murav uses his expertise to prevent big problems from ever happening.
He has been helping patients so they can enjoy eating and smiling again with dental implants since 2006. He has special methods of implant dentistry to 'rescue' the denture patient and those with debilitated teeth needing complete reconstructions. This combined with advanced techniques allow even the most compromised individual to return to a life of enjoying dental health.

Dr. Murav was born and raised in the Detroit area. Dr. Murav is married to his wife Thelma. They have three daughters Samantha, Carli, and Allie. All three children are living on their own; Samantha lives in North West Indiana, Carli lives in Chicago, and Allie lives in Florida. Dr. Murav and his wife enjoy visiting their children, bowling, traveling, and working around the house and outdoor activity. Dr. Murav and his family have lived on Eagle Lake (Paw Paw) for about 25 years and enjoys fishing, swimming, and boating on the lake.

I just moved to Decatur and happened to have a dental emergency shortly after. I called Decatur Family Dentistry asking if they had an opening because my regular dentist was unable to fit me in. I had broken a tooth and was in pain. Stephanie answered the phone and squeezed me in right away. Dr. Murav took one look and knew that I definitely needed to get it fixed ASAP and made sure to give me an antibiotic as infection was setting in. I requested to have my files transferred due to how well I was taken care of at Decatur Family Dentistry. I'm glad he's right down the street from me and I'm also glad for his competent staff: Casey and Stephanie.

The good folks at Dr Murav's office have been nothing but great in the 3+ years I've been seeing them. Courteous....efficient....cutting edge technology....they seem to have a particular love for the wee ones.....photos on the wall, toys on the shelves....if a dental appointment can be considered 'lovely'.....this is where you go.

i had two separate consultations for possible implant proceedure,Dr Murav was very detailed in explaining implants. there was never any pressure to schedule. they wanted to make sure everything was completely understood. all the staff were very friendly! appeared to love their work and explained all the services they had to offer. i noticed the x ray equipment was the latest technology and recieved two of them for proceedure preparation. the office runs very efficently, both consultations went smoothly and the staff made sure they were promptly completed on time. i have been in the customer service industry for over forty years and my hats off with my thanks to the entire staff for making my visits great !
