Originally from Belleville, Illinois, Dr. Burpo went to undergrad at Eastern Illinois and graduated from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine at Alton in 1997. He moved to Crane in 1998 and opened Crane Family Dentistry in 1999. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Crane Dental Association. Locally, he is a member of the Crane Chamber of Commerce. Doctor Burpo has pursued advanced training in a variety of dental techniques and treatments, including the placement of small diameter implants and the use of Invisalign and Six Month Smiles Orthodontics.

Dr. Burpo is passionate about treating his patients the way he would want to be treated. Listening to our patient's desires and wishes, as well as any possible concerns, are a critical part of every treatment plan. It is Crane Family Dentistry's objective that each patient will receive the best treatment available... and want to tell their friends what a great experience they had.

Dr. Burpo is a certified member of the teaching staff with the Center of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry in Dallas, TX. He attends training sessions every month to expand his ability to perform more complex procedures and keep up with current innovations in dentistry.

Compared to getting a new denture, partial, or having a traditional bridge made, dental implants are the only type of restoration that mimics the look and feel of natural teeth. As such, they've become the gold standard for tooth replacement treatments in modern dentistry.

Non-Invasive to Other Teeth - A traditional bridge calls for reshaping healthy virgin teeth on either side of the missing one, permanently altering their structure. Implants are stand-alone restorations that function independently of other teeth.

Enhance Your Facial Profile and Bone Anatomy - By design, implants trigger bone development in the area where they are placed. This permanently fuses the implant to the mouth and preserves natural bone height in the jaw, limiting the 'sunken' appearance usually seen after tooth loss.
