She spent her teens and early adulthood in the San Francisco Bay Area. After earning her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from California State University, East Bay, she spent a few years in Biotechnology R&D in Palo Alto, California. It was then that she decided to further her education and seek a career in the sciences that would allow her to directly be of service to people.
Dr. Kattaura decided to pursue an education in dentistry as a way to utilize her artistic talents while keeping her tuned into the health sciences. She attended and graduated from New York University, College of Dentistry. After graduation, she chose not to settle on the west or east coast. She moved to the center of the country, and has made the beautiful state of Colorado her home.
While she has a true passion for helping patients, Dr. Kattaura has a rich life outside of the office. When she is not in the office, Dr. Kattaura enjoys playing her primary role as a mother. She has two beautiful children that continue to enrich her life. Dr. Kattaura is very nature oriented, and spends much of her free time in the natural, serene mountain settings of Colorado. She enjoys learning about new cultures by trying our different cuisines and continually expanding her horizons. She enjoys hiking, oil painting, photography, cooking, gardening, and yoga. She is also well versed in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
