At an early age, I knew that I wanted to be a dentist. I had a wonderful family dentist and all of my childhood dental experiences were pleasant. I vowed to be a dentist like the one I had and give people truly beautiful smiles.
Staying on the cutting edge of dental technology through continuing education is vital to our mission to provide outstanding dentistry. It adds value to our practice and patient services. It also motivates me to pursue self-improvement and allows me to discover new avenues to expand our practice.
Weekends and time off areanopportune time for advanced continuing education todevelopand polishdental skills utilized in our practice. For fun, I am a great fan of OU, OSU, and the Thunder and try to attend a few games each year. I also work out in the gym, run at the lake, do home-improvement projects, and love to water ski.
I have two grown children, Jeff and Jacquelyn, who I try to meet with for dinner or activities once a week. Every week, I also have dinner with my Mom (nothing like Moms cooking!). Family relationships are important and a magnificent support foundation.
I believe it is important for each in our profession to reach out to the community andassist those who otherwise have little or no hope. People of all ages and backgrounds from time to time in their life may need a helping hand. We help bridge the gap in our capitalistic society betweenthose who have and the one's without. I do this by volunteering with OK Mission of Mercy Foundation, through which I donate dental services.

I have worked in the dental field for more than 23 years: I started back in 1997 clinically as a certified dental assistant graduating from Platt College, working with many different dentists and learning new ways and techniques. During the years I worked my way up to lead assistant, clinical manager, front office assistant, treatment coordinating, assistant manager and became a Practice Manager.
I have a daughter Essence and a son Trystan, along with 2 amazing grandsons Amauri and Aza. They keep me very busy and keep me moving at all times. I enjoy reading, being with family and friends, watching sports and movies. My favorite teams are of course the OSU Oklahoma State University not to be confused with Ohio, L.A. Lakers, and Denver Broncos!
I have had the privilege of working in various areas of dentistry and still feel rewarded every day to continue growing while acquiring new skills for a career I have loved since I was a child. One of my personal goals is to treat each patient as if they are family and educate them to achieve the best experience possible.

Visited this place back in 2019. Don't know why I am receiving bill for the past month. My WORST experience at a dental clinic! Honestly would not have bothered to drop a review but thanks for the reminder with the bill out of no where. Took about an hour just to have scans done because they had I think an intern or someone very unexperienced left alone with me. It was very painful how she had placed the mouth brace for the scans into my mouth, and because she was not sure of how to do it, she replaced it into my mouth several times continuing placing it in the most uncomfortable placement. For some reason I decided I would not leave after that once Dr. Layton checked and found that I needed some filling. Told me I could do it same day and I said sure. He had the same intern help him with the filling while the experienced hygienist stood there and told her she was doing something wrong. I think as a first time patient there and first time being to the dentist in a few years (they knew of this since I told them coming in) they should have asked if it was okay to have the unexperienced person there. But they never asked me that nor was I aware of what was going on until the hygienist mentioned to me later. Dr. Layton was forcefully showing the intern with where she needed to keep and place things. She was not confident in what she was doing which obviously frustrated Dr. Layton that he was BEATING my face! I just thought ok, its been a while since I've been to the dentist, things are fine. Insurance covered the scan, I payed what I owed. Moved on. Next day at work, all my co-workers mentioned how BRUISED and SWOLLEN my face was. The bruising lasted for about a week. I now go to a dental clinic recommended to me by HR. It is way better than this place. I had to have another filling on the other side of my face. I did not swell or bruise from my current dentist. He does a great job unlike what was done for me at Dr. Layton's office. DO NOT GO HERE.

Very friendly and at home like environment,the front desk clerk was very professional kind, patient. The Dental assistant instantly made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Customer service and patient care is a obvious priority. I'm happy to have made the choice to give Dental Images a try.

Dr. Layton has been my dentist for more than15 years. I had very crooked teeth and too many of them. I was scared to have teeth removed that were healthy. He explained everything that he was planning to do simply. I never thought my smile could be so beautiful. Also he never let me feel any pain. Comfortable atmosphere. The best dentist I have ever had.

I do not recommend this place I went in for a feeling on a cavity, I didn't know I had ..Ever since then I've had terrible pain in that tooth I went back several times and they did nothing for me to fix it.

I had a really good experience with Dr. K and staff. They took really good care of me(I'm afraid of dentist office visits all my life). Got in really quick and out minimal pain. Dr knows how to do his thing will be going back for more visits in the future.
