Crown Point dentist, Dr. Kristin Andrews is a smile wizard and not just because shes read Harry Potter more times than she can count! Dr. Andrews is a member of the American Dental Association, with additional certifications in Invisalign and other innovative orthodontic techniques.
Shes also one of the first three people to graduate with a degree in neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Chicago! That incredible knowledge of how our minds and our mouths work together gives Dr. Andrews a deep understanding of her patients and how to help them. Dr. Andrews literally fell into the world of dentistry. When she was a senior in high school, she damaged her front tooth and needed a root canal.
Her dentist noticed her keen mind and her interest in how dentistry worked and offered a position as a dental assistant during her undergraduate studies. Deeply empathic and caring, Dr. Andrews fell in love with how dentists could bring so much joy into the lives of their patients by repairing their smiles, and knew that this was the field for her.
When Dr. Andrews isnt working on improving the smiles of her patients, she finds her own smiles through staying active mentally and physically. An avid Crossfit athlete and dog owner, you could find her hitting the trails with her beloved dogs, Draper and Dublin. She also loves spending time at home with her husband and stepson, or curled up with a good book about wizards.
