Very friendly staff, came in and had to get a root canal and extraction, somehow the only real pain was trying to keep my mouth open the whole time.

Staff are professional and friendly. They pay attention to patients's needs and answer questions frankly. Facility is adequately up to date in equipment supplies and technology. Doctors and hygienists and support staff work as a team which is the reason for their success and popularity.

Dr. Atalla is great. However I rated this way because I was charged for an ex ray they already had at their other office when I was provided my treatment plan. My insurance did not cover it because they already billed them for one.

This is definitely a 5 star review. I was looking for a new dentist in the Ann Arbor area so I read some reviews first and then decided to go with this office. To be honest from my initial call they were very professional and polite. The front desk is very kind and patient . My Hygenist MaryAnna was amazing and kind. My new dentist Dr. Kareef is very professional and kind .The Senior Treatment Coordinator Sue Bazzi was very professional and kind as well , she works around your schedule and make sure you leave there feeling like you have been taken care of. I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a professional dentist and a great experience. I am so happy I found this office.I now have been going to this office for over a year and am very pleased with the work they do and the staff is very professional. I really do recommend this office, you will not be disappointed at all .

First time here. The staff were all friendly. Dr Tallib was thorough and explained my options. Very professional, knew dentistry and listened. I was impressed. They have a beautiful state of art facility. I was given payment options, Sue explained them with examples. Entire visit was quick and efficient. They didn't pressure me to make another appointment or treatment. I would absolutely recommend them. Definitely 5 stars.

On Wednesday (9/7/22) when I had my consultation, I was talked out of getting an IV sedation under the assurance that nitrous oxide would be used to keep me from getting too anxious in the chair. It was never added to the bill and so when I showed up the next day I was numbed, but very aware of what was going on, breath very quickly and shaking (my hands were literally clasped together tightly with my nails in my palms to try and keep from crying). Anyways the procedure was quick thankfully, but when I was preparing to leave the dental assistant was telling me when and how to replace my gauze and how frequently, also what to avoid doing. She told me to put two pieces of gauze together and fold them in half twice, which I did, but i had extreme discomfort on the right side of my mouth. When it came time for me to try and change my gauze, the piece that came out had what looked like pus on it, that I am now believing to have possibly been the blood clot, because I soon after experienced excruciating pain that the medication could not help. I was crying and feeling nauseous, and as I could not really speak, I immediately tried to contact the practice via email hoping I would receive some kind of instruction or be contacted in some capacity. I was not contacted, I remained in pain for a majority of Friday, Saturday, and finally it is Sunday and I am still experiencing pain that is giving me headaches, jaw pain, and neck pain. I have been doing the best to gently rinse my mouth with warm salt water, using wrapped ice packs nonstop and using the medication as recommended, the pain is persisting and I am concerned I have dry socket, and wishing I had received contact on Friday or Saturday so that I could discuss the best possible steps to make this bearable. I am sure they have a lot of patients to see and take care of, but I wish I had received some kind of timely follow up when I reached out with an issue.

Note to owner. I appreciate that you'd prefer not to have my review published. By the same token, my review is accurate as it relates to my experience. That includes your dentist's flippant (disrespectful) approach. It includes the zero investigation by your dentist. Includes the opiate remark as well as the hard sale from your finance team. I did go back and confirm the offices. I have the right location. As for confirming my appointment, my name isn't really Bee Flick. That won't match your records. However, rest assured, I was definitely there..... Please read. I've never experienced a more unprofessional, flippant and disrespectful professional group in my life. I made an appointment for a bite wing and consult. I was in a fairly difficult accident. Most of the teeth on my left side have been damaged. I'm in a lot of pain. The appointment was for me to understand my options. Nice office. Big. The bite wing was done quickly. It wasn't more than 3 minutes before the dentist came in. "Mr {name}, we drew straws in the back. I lost. Here's my evaluation." No joke, he said just that. I'm not a dentist, but as a new patient I was expecting a bit more than a 2 minute consult. But it gets better. 3 minutes waiting + 2 minute consult = 5 minutes... His treatment plan? "We should remove ALL your teeth on the left and then you can use dentures." Um. Dead serious. That's again exactly what he said. But it gets better yet again. Remember, 5 minutes. Plan cost? $20,000. I was stunned; blown away. $20,000. He spent more time filling out the little treatment plan than he spent preparing to meet me or spent talking to me. When he was done with the plan, as he was walking out, he tossed over his shoulder "oh, but I'll give you a big bottle of opiates." Then he left. No "goodbye". Just walked out. But it still gets better again! The assistant was very kind. She saw that I was wrecked. She got me up. I was speechless. Shaking in fact. She took me to the 'finance manager' where I assumed I had pay something. I sat down. The 'finance manager' then proceeds to hard sell me on their in office financing plan. Seriously, she was pushing me hard. To the point of rudeness. "Mr {name}, $20,000 is ONLY $700 a month for 10 YEARS." I'm really not exaggerating. I'd get up to go and she kept physically pulling me back. I was trying to be polite, but I was very ready to leave. They had 3 or 4 ways to bankrupt me. I've been a seller for decades. It's not only unethical to press a distressed patient to make a financial decision, it's illegal. I'll be pulling on that thread a bit. So I don't know if they're skilled dentists, maybe they are, but a 5 minute evaluation leading to a $20,000 treatment plan and then 20 minutes fending off the 'finance manager'? No way. It was horrific. They need some quality time defending their licenses. Skilled or not, do not go there. I don't think they're trustworthy. They're greedy. It's a body shop only interested in the money. Patients are a necessary evil. Nothing more. I'd have been happier with a trainee from a Chicago meat processing plant. (PS: I waited a few weeks before leaving a review. I wanted to filter out the emotion. Nope. Even more angry now. I'm filing a grievance through BCHS. The Hippocratic Oath is interesting. Many versions, but they all have something like "I consider for the benefit of my patients, and abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous.." In other words, do no harm. But not do no dentistry harm. Not (flagrantly) dismissing an obviously distressed patient who was stunned and visibly shaking. Not spend 2 minutes on a cursory, $20,000 treatment plan and then hard selling abusive finance options. Not just the poor guy that'd already been traumatized by a serious accident. All harm. ALL harm. You get the DDS. That's part of the job.) Ymmv.
