Dr. Joel Chanen is a 1967 graduate of Temple University Dental School. After serving as a general dentist in the United States Army, he began his private practice in 1969. Dr. Chanen received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1984 and completed the Synergy Implant Training Program in 1992. He resides in Montgomery Township with his wife, Janice. His favorite pastimes include golf, skiing, reading Early American history and being a grandparent.
Dr. Lisa A. Stahlecker is a graduate of Villanova University and a 1990 magna cum laud graduate of Georgetown University Dental School. She joined Dr. Joel Chanen in practice in 1990 and completed the Synergy Implant Training Program in 1994. Dr. Stahlecker resides in Upper Gwynedd Township with her family and enjoys gardening, reading, knitting and weekends in Avalon.
Dr. Robin Chanen attended Syracuse University, where she graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology before attending Temple University School of Dentistry for her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Chanen completed the Synergy Implant Training Program in 2003. She resides in Lower Gwynedd with her husband and children, and enjoys weekends at the beach, swimming, cooking and motherhood.

Everyone was incredibly courteous and professional, great energy and amazing staff. Highly recommend Dental Health Group in Lansdale/Colmar, hands down the best dental experience of my life.

My friend shared his experience with Dr. Robin Chenan and her team. He told me how well Katie and Dr. Robin work together while he was having some serious dental work done. I am not comfortable at the dentist at all, due to my childhood dental experience. Because of my friend's recommendation, I decided to change dentists to Dr. Robin Chanan. When I called, I alerted them that I am not comfortable at the dentist and they assured me it would go well. Everyone in this office is so CALM and patient, with no one rushing from chair to chair servicing many cases all at one time. Dr. Robin looked at my broken tooth and took time to assess the damage. She explained the need for a crown on this tooth and protected it with a palliative repair. All the while Dr. Robin and her assistant Katie worked so well as a team. They have been working together for 26+ years and it shows. Thank you to Dr. Robin and Katie for your calm, skilled, expert dental care. I really appreciate your work and your approach! Hayden

OMG the best dental group ever. Went in because my very special hygienist switched locations so naturally I followed her. Who wouldn't , Val is the best ever! Just gets me ! Then went on to meet Patty and Stephanie at the front desk. Wow could not have been any sweeter or accommodating to and for me. Of course had to meet Dr. Lisa- what an amazing debris and lady. Love her too. As you can tell i am all about this Dental Group. Everyone in the office is so polite! Cannot say enough!!!

The hygienists and staff at the Dental Health group are very well trained and Dr. Chanen does excellent dental work . He also gives great local anesthetic needles with minimal pain which to me is very important :-)

I have nothing but praise for The Dental Health Group in Colmar. The staff from the front door through to anyone that has to peer into my mouth are welcoming, professional, and so personable that I feel like I should hug everyone on my way out. Dr. Lisa and the dental hygienists explain what they are doing step by step. While an appointment at the dentist would typically make someone break out in a sweat, I feel completely at ease and well taken care of here. And my teeth and gums are doing very well, too! I highly recommend.

I have had major dental issues, and have gone to Joel Chanen at Deltal Health Group for 40 years. I would trust no one else to care for my teeth. He is thorough, a perfectionist, and a real sweetheart. Chrissy is a fabulous hygienist - I have a mouthful of crowns and many sensitive areas, and Chrissy understands my anxiety, and together with Dr. Chanen, they help me manage the pain associated with getting my teeth clean. If you are looking for a Dental group, I believe you could not do any better than the Dental Health Group on Broad Street in Lansdale.

Dr. Stahlecker is a superb dentist. She is so personable and patient taking time to thoroughly explain all procedures. She truly leaves you feeling confident knowing that you are in the best care. From the calm and welcoming aesthetic of the office to the extremely kind, courteous and professional staff, this was hands down the best dental experience.

What a great dental office! Everyone is always so helpful. The reception staff, Patty and Stephanie, are terrific. Sandy, the hygienist, is wonderful. And Dr. Robin Chanen is, without a doubt, the best dentist I've ever had. This office is exceptional!
