When Michael DiCarlo was first considering a future in medicine, he chose dentistry over pediatrics as his true profession. Now, at Dental Health Center of Monmouth Beach, he gets to bring the warmth and caring heart of the pediatrician he might have become to his dental patients in the field that he loves. After completing the rigorous course requirements for his degree from New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. DiCarlo was recognized, during his residency at Staten Island University Hospital, for his exceptional clinical skills. He was selected as Chief Resident, while training in the treatment planning, placement, and restoration of advanced esthetic and implant cases.

Dr. DiCarlo is a faculty member at Spear Education, the institute for advanced learning in dental medicine. He is committed to mastery in dentistry and exceptional service because he believes that patients deserve the best at the Dental Health Center of Monmouth Beach.

Dr. Blaine Keister graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University in 1999 with a degree in Biochemistry and performed cancer research at the prestigious Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia before embarking on his dental career at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

While at Penn Dental, Dr. Keister excelled both academically and clinically, graduating in the top of his class in 2008 with numerous awards, including the Deans Scholarship, the Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Oral Implantology Award, the Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry Award, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award of Excellence, and the International College of Dentists Leadership Award.

After graduation, Dr. Keister completed a general practice residency at York Hospital in York, PA where he advanced his training in dental trauma, sedation, oral surgery, dental implants, and the management of medically compromised patients. Dr. Keister enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry and is committed to providing the best possible care to his patients in a manner that is gentle, compassionate, and personally appropriate. In 2019, Dr. Keister was recognized as a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) for his pursuit of clinical excellence after completing 1,100 hours of continuing education in all disciplines of dentistry.

When hes not at the dental office, Dr. Keister loves spending time with his wife, Dr. Stephanie Shinmachi (an orthodontist), whether its running ultra-marathons, visiting National Parks, scoping out the best pizza places, or boating and fishing in the Raritan Bay. Their most recent adventure in a National Park was a 46-mile run from the South Rim to the North Rim and back across the Grand Canyon.
