Dr. Alison Johnson grew up in Maumee. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Toledo and then went on to Miami University and The Ohio State University School of Dentistry. Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Alison could be seen around our office working with the hygienists and sterilizing instruments. She realized that helping people achieve a beautiful, healthy smile was her dream and joined Dental Health Associates as a dentist in 2013. Dr. Alison enjoys practicing general dentistry because she loves being able to treat all the members of a family, especially children. She believes that positive pediatric experiences can create a lifetime of great oral health. Dr. Alison has completed advanced training for Six-Month Smiles adult braces, as well as Invisalign. This allows her to help adult patients who may not be satisfied with the appearance of their teeth. Dr. Alison has also completed the AAFE course to treat patients who have discomfort caused by clenching and grinding their teeth with BOTOX therapy. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, Toledo Dental Society, and the Mommy Dentist in Business.
