Not a big reviewer, but gotta give a shout-out to Doc Schwitters. Been helping me with my chompers for near a decade now. Today, he definitely went above and beyond in my book, always looking out for me. Top-notch doc. Also, can't really say enough about the wonderful hygienist and dental assistant. New group today, but all I've met there have been wonderful. They're always friendly, gentle and skilled. Thanks team!

Dr. Schwitters and his staff have always been true professionals and I'm continually pleased to see them for my dental needs. Story time: I had a dental emergency before I was a patient of DHA - East. I called to see what, if anything, could be done. Dr. Schwitters picked-up his assistant extra early the next morning in a terrible snowstorm in order to accommodate me at the earliest possible juncture! Heroes, the lot of them!

I had my fixed retainer fall out and Dr. Alsamawi was able to cement it back in that same day! His assistant, Emma, was so sweet and helpful. Jackie, the financial coordinator, rocked my 3 month old daughter when she started fussing while I was in the dental chair. The staff are all so friendly when you walk in. Its a beautiful facility. I cant wait to come back for my 6 month visits.

Dr. Alsamawi is fantastic with our son. We is very professional, a great communicator and provides quality service in ortho care overall. I would recommend him to anyone. The team at DHA AmCenter supports him to round out a thorough level of service for the patient experience.

Dr. Stephen Schasker is a partner andorthodontic specialistat ourAmerican CenterandEast Clinicswhere he serves clients from Monona, Madison, Maple Bluff, & Fitchburg. His interest in becoming a dentist formed at a young age when he spotted Hermie, the elf-dentist, in the holiday cartoon Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. What I love about dentistry is that you get to spend time with people and work with your hands all day, he says.

Dr. Schasker enjoys camping near the lakes of Northern Wisconsin with his wife and three children. A lover of vintage mechanical objects, he has been collecting and repairing antique pocket watches since 1983. He also enjoys tinkering with 30-year old motorcycles and an old Fiat convertible he owns. Dr. Schasker stays active by swimming, bicycling, and playing tennis and basketball.

Dr. Schasker is amazing with kids. He always tries to be as gentle as possible and is constantly apologizing if it is in any way painful. Would definitely recommend him for anyone who needs a good orthodontist.
