Dr. LaGrua started his dental career in the U.S. Army, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in July 2000 at Fort Jackson, SC. He then spent two years at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and was deployed to Bosnia Herzegovina with the Stabilization Forces in the former Yugoslavia.
In 2009, Dr. LaGrua earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), becoming one of only 7 percent of dentists who have achieved this honor. Dr. LaGrua has also completed training through the Misch International Implant Institute and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Calvano began his dental career in the U.S. Navy where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in July of 2000 at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina. He spent the next three years as part of the 2nd Dental Battalion at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. During his time with the Marines, Dr. Calvano was proud to be deployed to the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean, and Afghanistan with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
In 2007, Dr. Calvano earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). To achieve this honor, dentists must take more than 500 hours of educational courses in various areas of dentistry and must pass a rigorous exam. Dr. Calvano is one of only 7 percent of AGD dentists who have earned an AGD Fellowship. In 2011, Dr. Calvano completed an extensive continuing education series in orthodontics with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars.
When hes not helping patients in the office, Dr. Calvano enjoys spending time with his wife Sandra and their two children, exploring the local beauty of Virginia and traveling abroad to see the sights.
Cameron Roberts always knew he wanted to do something that would allow him to make a difference in the lives of others. While growing up in South Jordan, Utah, Cameron was exposed to the many great things providing dental health care could do. After serving a 2-year Spanish-speaking mission in Bolivia for his church, Cameron finished his Bachelor of Science degree at Brigham Young University as a Microbiology Major, married his sweetheart and moved across the country to begin his dental education at Virginia Commonwealth Universitys Medical College of Virginia.
Following his graduation from VCU Dr. Roberts worked as an associate dentist in Richmond Va.During this time he attended many continuing education seminars to become more proficient at Endodontics, aesthetic dentistry and he is Invisalign and Clear Correct certified.
Dr Roberts joined DHA in 2013 and has loved living in the Shenandoah Valley and working with great co workers.He is currently working to complete the requirements to become a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).

Dental Health Associates provides quality care. My hygienist is a pro who has helped me get my gums back in shape. She explains what she is doing as she works. Highly recommend the Lexington office!!

I recently was dealing with a sensitive tooth. I could only assume it was cracked, infected or a cavity. I went to our current dentist and he examed the tooth and said you just need a night guard. I said "that's not going to take away the sensitivity." I left and got a second opinion. I called "Dental Health Associates" they got me in the same day! So understanding, makes you feel like family once you walk through the door. Everyone is so very sweet. I told them about my sensitive tooth, he did x-rays and used a camera and took pictures. Sure enough, it was cracked. He asked if I would like it fixed, of course I said yes. He said let me check the schedule and that he might be able to take care of me today. And he sure did. My tooth was fixed and it's been a few weeks and no issues. I just wanted to hug him for seeing me the same day and fixing it. I have switched my whole family to this office.

I am new to Lexington area and happened to land at Dental Health Associates and I am glad I did! My exam was one of the most thorough dental exams I've ever had. They checked everything! I also felt heard and they explained everything very clearly to me. Would recommend.

Terrible care. No regard for clients well being. Went there for a x-ray scan of my teeth and came out with hole/cut in 3/4 corners of my mouth. And told worker about pain and discomfort and she disregarded my word.

I had a toothache, and they quickly slipped me into Dr. Calvano's schedule. Dr. Calvano is an expert diagnostician--quick, thorough, careful. He gave me an antibiotic for the root canal infection and referred me to an endodontist for further evaluation.
