Our flagship dental office, Painesville Dental Group, first opened its doors in 1969. Since then, we have added three additional dental offices to better serve patients in our communities. Dental Group of Jefferson joined the PDG family in 1971 Chardon Smile Center in 2008 and Hilltop Family Dental in 2019. In 2020, Painesville Dental Group relocated to a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility custom-built to offer patients better, more modern and streamlined oral healthcare experiences. Dr. Hammond doesnt actually have a big, dramatic backstory about how he got into this line of work. He simply liked the field and the idea of helping patients smile brighter! Over a decade later, he still feels confident that he made the right choice.

After attending Muskingum College, Dr. Hammond achieved his dental doctorate at Ohio State. He is certified in dental implant placement and Invisalign. Hes also currently a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

As a child, Dr. Pichler had quite a bit of dental work done but thankfully, she was lucky to have a team of dedicated and compassionate dentists who always made each procedure very smooth. They inspired her to want to help others in the same way!

After completing her undergraduate education at Brandeis University, Dr. Pichler pursued her doctorate at Case Western Reserve University. She also underwent a General Practice Residency at St. Vincents Charity Medical Center, where she received state-of-the-art training in general dentistry, restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and much more. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Pichler and her husband currently share their home with three cats, a dog, and a fish. In her spare time, you can usually find her reading, writing, cooking, or hanging out with her beloved rescue animals. Shes also very nerdy and loves indulging in fantasy/science fiction!
