Dr. Changizi has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. She has a wide range of experience in different aspects of dentistry. She believes in staying at the forefront of dental technology and techniques through advanced education and hands-on training. She realizes that many people are nervous about going to the dentist and is committed to easing every patient's fears and making them feel comfortable and relaxed in her office. Her emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable her to provide her patients with the best quality care in the field. She is dedicated to providing exceptional general, family and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Ismail received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May 1985, graduating with honors from School of Dentistry, Cairo University. He and his family moved to California in 1991, Where he passed his national and state board exams to practice dentistry in the united states. Dr Ismail has completed numerous courses in different aspects of general dentistry including a two year residency program in oral surgery and conscious sedation for minors.
Serving the Fresno area for more than ten years, Dr. Ismail has the skill, expertise and training necessary to provide high quality, easy-care dental services that can really make a difference in his patients lives. Dr. Ismail knows that to give his patients the best care, He must be a dentist with more than just good technique.
From the first phone call, it is my job to make sure our patients know they've chosen the right place. I like working at Dental Group of California because everyone here is friendly and inviting; It's contagious and puts everyone at ease. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my friends and family enjoying life.
I love the environment at DGC and always look forward to coming into work. I do my best to be welcoming to our patients in hopes that they will also look forward to seeing us. I am always happy to see our patients leave the office satisfied. When I am not at work I love making new memories with my family.

In the short period of time working at DGC, I am able to wholeheartedly say I enjoy it. It is a pleasure to wake up every morning and not just work but to learn from the wonderful doctors and Staff here. The patients make this experience not just enjoyable but fun as well. I enjoy reading, sports and going out on adventures.

If I can have them zero start I would but the receptionist i don't know why she still working there if basically people cancel appointment because of her she so rude not even funny I won't recommend this place

Had an appointment with my husband. They didn't allow my kids to wait in the waiting room due to their policy. They said the kids can wait outside. I was like in this heat there is no way. Very unprofessional. I was upset with their response. So I just canceled my appointment. Looking for a new dentist Not a place that welcomes families.

Was seen today for the first time and It was a good experience. My original appointment was at 2pm but I was able to be seen around 9 this morning Dr Ismael was even able to replace a old silver filling into a white one! Which I love. This place was very straightforward, definitely recommending to my friends n family

January 2021 i went in for a tooth extraction on a molar and it was done quickly and painlessly. The dental assistants and Dr. Ismail were nice and friendly. Even with my lack of full coverage with my calFresh placeholder coverage card. If you have CalViva this office takes it. The only thing ill say and it doesnt have anything to do with the office or employees themselves is call your medi-cal provider or the coverage provider on your card and see about dental coverage through medi-cal, the paper card will only get you 1 free tooth extraction and nothing else through it. Again that isnt to say they dont take calViva, as they do. Just plan for the future and call your coverage provider and ask about enrolling in dental coverage through medi-cal. I was told by a front desk worker that it is free if signed up through medi-cal and theyll be able to do any future work done within the coverage.

The dental assistants and front desk staff are very friendly and sweet. The dentist that I saw (Susan) had an atrocious attitude. She was very defensive when I addressed my concerns. Lacked professionalism, and very easily bothered. Someone who addresses themselves as a "Doctor" should carry themselves with more class, better work ethic, and mindfulness of a patient's concern. Just because you're working in the east side of Fresno, accepting Medi-cal does not give you the right to talk to people however you please. I asked for specific services and pricing as well, and was refused the information. Maybe she thought I couldn't afford it since all I was told was "the insurance won't cover it" after I specified I was aware and willing to pay out of pocket. Please always speak up if you have any concerns. At the end of the day they are there to serve you and answer your questions. She also asked what type of heart problems I had, I explained what it is and she had me scratch it off on the form we fill out and told me to say I don't have heart problems because then she wouldn't be able to work on me without the clear. Illegal much? I will be filing a complaint with Medi-cal as well as DBC. Update: In response to Susan, I pray to God your facility has cameras inside that capture audio. You and the girls that were in there know exactly what you said and what you had me adjust on my medical history form just to bypass insurance approval.

By far the best dental office in town! My family has been coming here for years & every visit has been pleasant. The entire staff & the doctors are very friendly & very helpful. I highly recommend making this office your go to for all your dental needs.

I have been to this office a few times now and I am surprised they don't have more reviews! The staff is all so friendly, the girls in the front were so patient with me I didn't feel rushed or like I was bothering them with questions about my insurance they took their time and I appreciated it because it was new to me and I did not know how it worked

They are very nice people, it's a minority owned business too which hires a diverse group of employees which is always a good sign to see especially in a family owned business like this one. They have employees that speak spanish as well which makes it really easy to get service for family members who are more comfortable speaking spanish or who don't speak english well. The dentist's are really nice and super patient with people. My dentist made sure i was completely numb before she did any work on me, it shows that they really care about you and that your not just another cash grab for them.

I've had a very bad experience with my previous dentist swore I'd never see her again. My sister n law referred me to Dr ismal . I went just expecting X-ray and to look at my teeth tell me what needs to be done then me come back. But he asked me if I wanted him to go ahead and do the fillings I needed done? That was a shock. I said oh yes if you can please. I told him my past experience and he was so kind and paintience . He ended up filling 6 teeth. I was numbed up so good I didn't feel a thing. Definitely will go back.

I have two children traumatized from a western dental I decided to come here staff is friendly and amazing. They treated them so sweet and the dentist was amazing she was so good with them and made sure to explain what she's doing and made them very comfortable. Def recommended

Took my children here a while back. My daughter was getting a filling and the dentist actually told her, "Quit crying or I'll give you another shot". You can't say that to an 8year old!! Never bringing my kids back here again. On top of that staff is very rude and unfriendly. The only decent one is a young lady at the front desk.

Just had 18 teeth pulled the dentist and staff did a great job I have no complaints and the processes and recommendations were explained well. No complaints.

My friend didn't speak english she only spoke spanish but i was happy to know that a majority of the staff are actually fluent in spanish and are welcoming to everyone of diffferent cultures.

I wouldn't consider looking at the reviews that state "the dentist never came in. they were two hours late" as these are blatant lies. I have been to this business many times and I promise you that it is a clean and safe environment. Furthermore, the Dentist are actually there before any of their employees (I know from experience). This is a well organized establishment that will get rid of any fears you might have about the dentist.
