Being a dentist means that I can serve my community by relieving pain, saving teeth, and restoring healthy smiles. I am committed to professional excellence and providing truly exceptional dental care with compassion, empathy, and integrity.
Growing up as an immigrant, I witnessed a serious demand for dental work in my low-income community. Many people did not seek dental care until it was too late and the cost was too overwhelming. I became eager to help those who are in the most need such as the financially disadvantaged or those with particularly difficult medical complications.
My dream came true in 2015 when the UCLA School of Dentistry accepted me, and since then I have been able to provide treatment for many of these patients. Serving them gives meaning to my life and a special purpose to my career.

Once they got another dentist they have improved but before that they were disorganized and you never got in due to no dentist took forever to get in.

awful experience. i waited 3 months for a new patient appt for them to cancel by text 2 days before. i tried to call 3x to reschedule and nothing. im done with this office. ill go elsewhere.

Temp Doctor. But he made the visit super easy and honestly enjoyable. For someone who isn't the most fond of dentists. This place is very helpful and hooked me up.

The fill in doctor was really nice, polite and explained everything so you can understand what he was doing and where it was going next in the process. The staff is nice, polite and they are experienced. Wasn't pleased with the other dentist leaving and having to wait so long in between though.

The staff are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain all procedures and answer all questions. As someone who has anxiety about dentist visits, the have always been very kind and understanding, and take the time to build trust. I have been very happy with Dental Group of Bloomington and would recommend them to anyone.

Staff are unable to keep appointments and only make a half hearted effort to inform their patients of the schedule change. Should you need any emergency care or serious dental work they are unable to perform it here. They make it a habit to work by referral to other more competent Dental professionals. I wish I could rate them lower than one star.

I've spent enough time playing phone tag with this place so I don't have much energy to type many details in the review. So I'll make this fairly short and to the point - bad communicators, a confused "billing department" (which is something they lied about - there is not actually a billing department it's their front desk), lots of issues with payments and insurance, and every time I went over a span of 3 years I had a new dentist. Turnover rate was crazy but probably for good reason. I will say most of the people there are genuinely nice but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Try finding a smaller practice with a more home feeling instead...they are out there!

If I could givethis place zero stars, I would. DO NOT GO HERE! I am a college student that doesn't have time to go home for a dentist appointment. I called and booked an appointment for Oct 29th (I made this appointment September 9th) as a new patient. They sent me a text three weeks prior that my hygienist had an emergency. They didn't call you to reschedule, only sent a text... Unprofessional. I called right away and made a new appointment. The appointment was December 15th at 8:50am. They sent me a text, didn't call me, saying my hygienist is sick and I need to reschedule less than 24 hours away from the appointment. I call them right away and they don't say their sorry considering that this is the second time they've canceled, instead they say something along the lines of "We can't do anything, they're sick". Start naming off appointments that are a month or two away. Bottom line, in my opinion, this dentist office is unprofessional. They don't call you when you have to reschedule and have canceled on me twice now. In my opinion, it doesn't exactly seem like they care about their patients considering there was no apology for the inconvenience on my behalf. I had been waiting to go home for Christmas break because of this appointment, I could have been home a week and half ago considering the fact they canceled again. I have been waiting for 4 months to get in for my yearly check up, and would now have to wait an additional 2 months (6 months total) to get in for my yearly check up. Do not go here, it is not worth your time and hassle to be dealing with this. From what I've read with the reviews, it seems like they do this A LOT.

I have been to many dental offices in my life and find that the Dental Group of Bloomington has been the best one from my perspective. They are very knowledgeable and skilled with the latest technology to address whatever my dental needs are and I would highly recommend their professional services to everyone!

My first time visiting Dental Group of Bloomington was a pleasant one. Everybody was very nice, timely, and willing to explain what was happening at each step of treatment. They utilize the latest technology and their pricing is very fair.

If I had looked at Yelp before going there I would never have gone. They deserve less than 1 star. Three things: 1. My husband went there and felt that the 2 "deep cleanings" they recommended were not very deep at all. In fact he said that it felt even less than the regular cleanings that he had received previously. But he is not a professional so he accepted it. However, they are wanting to see him every three months and he feels that this is an excessive rip-off. He said he will do six only. But after this he will find someone else. 2. On the day of husbands second appointment (sometime around mid-day) he arrived 10 minutes early and found doors locked and another patient knocking. He decided to stay and eventually after lunch they opened the doors. Would have been nice to have a simple sign saying what's going on. He almost drove away. 3. My husband had a crown fall off and (we must give them credit) they attended to him in an emergency. However, there is still a small amount of extra glue / cement on an adjacent tooth. Mild irritation up to now but it just adds to the compounding of dissatisfaction. 4. Final straw. I booked an appointment some 2 to 3 months ago and patiently waited until today. Today I get a call saying "hygienist is sick please call us to reschedule." We understand that stuff happens, and my husband calls. Told the best we can do is late January 2022. Lets put this in perspective - today is 11/1/2021 and we booked sometime in August/September 2021. So, in total we are looking at a 5 month lead time. So husband very firmly says that this is unacceptable but supervisor raises her voice and says "what do you want me to do if someone is sick." This statement is understandable but the general attitude is not. Avoid this group if you can.
