Robert and Heather Heil maintain a modern dental practice. Both of the doctors have been practicing dentistry for well over a decade, so you know that they have experience you can count on. Our Freedom dental office near Kaukauna is designed with your healthy, beautiful smile in mind, and each of these dental technologies helps us achieve your oral health or cosmetic dentistry goals. Freedom dentists Drs. Robert and Heather Heil can use intraoral cameras, digital X-rays, and the DIAGNOdent to better detect signs of cavities or other oral health problems. Intraoral cameras and digital X-rays provide chairside digital images of your oral cavity, which allows you to see whats going on with your smile as well as we do. And DIAGNOdent finds cavities and weak spots on your teeth long before theyd be detected with more traditional probing methods.

Dr. Robert Heil is from Appleton, Wisconsin. He studied at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota before going on to study at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis. He performed his general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, after which he worked at Park Dental in Burnsville, Minnesota. He then moved to Appleton in 1999, setting up private practice here. After a fire in 2009, Dr. Heil and his wife, Heather, joined forces in a single office in Freedom, WI.
Dr. Heil is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), Wisconsin Dental Association, and Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce. He provided mission dentistry in Jamaica several times, and he's affiliated with Arise Healthcare for the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. He enjoys learning new procedures and helping patients become healthier. He makes sure we grow in time with advances in technology, but he also believes in building relationships with all of our patients.
Dr. Heather Heil has been practicing general dentistry since 1999. Dr. Heather attended Gustavus Adolphus College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where she received her DDS degree with Honors. Dr. Heather was also a dental foreign exchange student with the University of Heidelberg, Germany for a semester.
When Dr. Heather is not practicing dentistry, she spends most of her time with her husband, Bob, and their four boys. As a family they enjoy biking, going to the park and taking long walks. She loves to garden and cook in her spare time. Running, golfing and traveling are other interests when time allows.
In the practice, Dr. Heather enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She finds dentistry to be an exciting career as it offers her the opportunity to be artistic as well as caring for and educating patients. She strives for excellence in all that she does.

Dr. Heather is the best . Caring, comforting, honest and on point. The whole team will make you feel relaxed while addressing your dental issues. I have feared dentists in generaI, can actually say I look forward to coming in to this office and seeing this team . I actually get so relaxed I almost fall asleep. Dr. Heather keep doing that greatness your doing for peoples dental health . To the assistant Courtney keep making the visits fun. Thank you so much giving me the ability and the want to smile again. My Name Is Jason Marx. I This dentist office! All the staff and the Doctor were so nice, helpful, and non-judgemental. I haven't see a dentist In over 7-8 years. I was so nervous to see a dentist and be Lectured and all the things I'm doing wrong but here I wasn't lectured. I was informed. Not judged. I actually enjoyed my visit to my new dentist! Even though some news wasn't the best. It was due to my faults! I left there feeling like this is the best dentist office I've ever been too. I'm referring Dental Expressions to anyone I Know! I was very anxious about having dental work done after a negative experience at a different office. Dr. Heather Heil was recommended by a friend. I am so glad I found her! She was extremely patient and I had no pain. Her entire staff is great! I would highly recommend her!

They take excellent care of you. I always went to a different dentist growing up and just figured hey, there's one right down the road from me. I have extremely bad anxiety and dentist don't help them, but they have perfected the craft of sedation dentistry. Super friendly staff as well.

What a wonderful practice that help all members of the family feel welcome and comfortable! They work hard to make sure you understand their treatment plan and that it meets your health and financial needs. Very thankful for all they do and all the extra effort they make for the kids - Kid Day? Makes my daughter look forward to going to her dentist appointment! Update: Three years later and we still love our choice in dentists. The entire team makes a point of making patients feel at home. They know myself and my daughter well and make the experience feel personal when we're in. And as a mom, it's great when my daughter makes note of teeth healthy choices that she's been educated on by her dentist that she wants to make sure she's adhering to. Blown away by how thorough the new patient orientation and exam was. Their approach is definitely proactive creating a treatment plan if need be. There is no pressure to do anything you don't want done. All has been pain free, every detail has been explained, all questions have been answered, the doctors and staff have been incredibly kind and attending. They are true professionals in their patient care and their knowledge of dentistry. I was impressed with the technology....learned lots.

I walked in to make an appointment for a tooth that I had accidentally chipped and Patti actually got me in right then and there saying I needed to have this looked at right away. Dr. Heil fixed my tooth and I ended up walking out with a big smile on my face. I found my new dentist and a special thank you to Patti! Switched dentist last year after my old dentist let me with a broken tooth and no time to fix it. I called dental expressions, was give an appointment time and date, I went in for an eval and left with my tooth prepped for a crown. I had it fixed before the time my old dentist could have squeezed me in. Honestly I felt as if I went from stone age to new age. I have since transferred the care of all my family and we couldn't be happier! All three of my children look forward to trips to the dentist

This is the best dentist I've ever been to!! Highly recommend! Friendly staff and pain free. Every detail was explained thoroughly and they were very reassuring for every procedure. Everyone hates going to the dentist but this business makes the process so much easier and painless!!

I've been going to Dental Expressions for many years. The staff is fantastic. Dr. Bob & Dr. Heather are very compassionate, explain everything that needs to be done and during any procedure. If you're not happy with your current dentist, give them a try.
