Dr. Michael Carpenter, Founder and Owner of Dental Excellence of Napoleon, grew up in Henry County and graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1996. In 1998, he purchased a Napoleon practice to serve his neighbors and friends in Henry County and all over Northwest Ohio.
Dr. Augustine grew up in Archbold, attended Bowling Green State University and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he later served as adjunct faculty overseeing fourth year dental students. He also served as Staff Sergeant in the Air National Guard where he trained as a crew chief. We are absolutely thrilled to have Dr. Augustine on our team.
Dr. Amy Augustine, known as Dr. Amy to her pediatric patients, is a board-certified pediatric dentist specializing in dental care for infants, toddlers, school-age children, and adolescents. In addition to years of pediatric-specific dental training, she has expertise in behavior guidance and a gift to communicate with children in an effective, gentle, and non-threatening manner.
Dr. Ellen Justus is originally from Huron, Ohio, and is the oldest of three siblings. Growing up in a family of nurses and pharmacists, she saw the value of helping people from an early age and wanted to do the same by pursuing a career in healthcare. She can recall an emergency dental situation she experienced when she was younger, and how grateful she was to the doctor who got her out of pain.
Dr. Adelle practices general dentistry at Dental Excellence of Napoleon. She graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School Of Dentistry in 2016 and completed her GPR (General Practice Residency) at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio where she received her certification in IV Sedation. She is planning on specializing in Dental Anesthesiology.
Dr. Ronald Fowler is a general dentist with advanced skills in wisdom teeth removal. His expertise gives dental practices throughout the state the opportunity to offer patients the convenience and cost savings of having wisdom teeth extractions provided right in the comfort of their family dental office. We are happy to offer his services to our patients. Dr. Fowler earned his Doctorate of MedicMD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. He then went on to earn his GPR certificate from The Ohio State University.
Dr. Anbari practices periodontics at Dental Excellence Periodontics in Napoleon, Ohio. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Damascus University School of Dentistry in 1998. She completed her advanced training in Periodontics and Dental Implants at the Periodontology Department at Case Western Reserve University. During her periodontal training she earned a Master Degree of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Taylor was raised in Monroe, Michigan where her father was a pastor. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry from the University of Toledo, and graduated from The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.Dr. Taylor previously practiced in Bowling Green, Ohio and is married with three boys. Her family and her faith are very important to her. She is passionate about showing Gods love through dentistry and has been very fortunate to be involved in international mission trips, where she provided dental care to impoverished populations in Costa Rica and Honduras.
Dr. Peter Nessif did his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and graduated from the College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University in 1996. After graduation, Dr. Peter joined his father Dr. Terrance Nessif's private practice and the two have been in practice together ever since.
Dr. Peter is the president of The Toledo Dental Society, as well as an active member of The American Dental Association and The Ohio Dental Association. Dr. Peter is an associate member of the American Association of Endodontists.
Born in Toledo, Dr. Terry Nessif attended the University of Toledo, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Education. Dr. Terry then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1963.

Best Dentist hands down!! The staff and Dr are so nice and Friendly got a root canal done was kinda nervous and they made me feel so comfortable and talked me threw everything!! 1000000% recommend thank you dental excellence!!

Been going to Dental Excellence of Sylvania for years. Peter Nessiff and his staff are total artists. Now have all my teeth fully crowned So beautiful. Smiling even bigger now. Happy they was able to get me in with my impacted tooth when my old Dentist scheduled me 2 months out. Glad I changed dentists there services are 3 times better than my old dentist.

I have always been treated well in this dental practice. Meghan the hygienist did her usual excellent job and always makes you feel at ease. At this visit Peter spent a little time with me to correct a small irritant which is much appreciated.

I have severe dental anxiety. I also have several chronic medical conditions that cause dental problems. From the moment I talked to them over the phone I knew it was going to be a good experience. The front desk, hygienist and dentist were all phenomenal. For the first time in years I was COMFORTABLE at the dentist. I thought for sure I was going need nitrous as I had before, but I didn't and it went very well. I highly recommend them to anybody, but especially those that have anxiety and who are worried about being judged and shamed. They also clearly explained treatment options and pricing so I was never surprised with a big bill.

I went Here looking for help with an implant and veneers. I went to three other dentists before finally landing this gem of a place. Dr. Peter Nessif was so straight forward the whole time, very personable, and quite funny. His assistant, Angie, was like a buddy through the whole process. She was very informative, but also engaged with me as a person not just a patient. Both were a great duo and worked in unison like no other. My smile came out picture perfect. I can't say enough. The ladies at the front desk always greeted me by name and it felt very welcoming. I am so thankful for this practice. 100/100

My old dentist I had gone to for my whole life retired so I needed to find a new one. This was a great choice. The office is very clean and comforting. Welcomed by a very friendly and personable receptionist. My insurance benefits were explained very well. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
