I visited for my 6 month cleaning and was not disappointed. Staff was friendly and courteous. Also very detailed and communicated throughout my visit keeping me abreast of every procedure being performed.

I've been coming to this location for a while, since Dr Patel was here. They overbooked all the time. Maybe once in a blue moon I come here and don't have to wait, otherwise I wait in the waiting room or in the chair in the office. They literally do not care.

Honestly, very mediocre service- would not recommend at all! So I called them for an emergency appointment; I was having pain in my last mollar (wisdom tooth) and so I was happy that they were able to get me an appointment the same day. I come in; did the whole forms- and sat down; they forgot about me! Waited an hour and a half; patients kept coming in and were getting serviced, but not me- until I go to the front desk and indeed they just forgot about me. That bothered me a bit; but whatever- they took X-rays, I explained everything; the doctor took take 5 seconds and told me I needed surgery for my wisdom tooth to be extracted; he gave me a referral- that's it. I asked for any sort of pain killers (I WAS IN A LOT OF PAIN)- he just said "nothing, take Tylenol) and bye! I felt mistreated. He didn't even give me options, didn't tell me why I was in pain. Nothing! I left disappointed. But I made another appointment somewhere else! They didn't keep me waiting, the prescribed antibiotics, and oral gel, and painkillers! Also a mouth wash. Told me what I had, and why it needed to be removed! They scheduled me for surgery for next week, but the pain killers are working wonders! And I felt very well treated. And welcoming. I highly don't recommend this place.

Reception is very kind however, the facility isn't as sanitary as it should be and the communication from the doctors isn't great. Every doctor I've been to explains what they're going to do so it was just odd. One doctor checked my teeth and said everything was "perfect" even though I have 2 cavities and a cracked tooth, by cracked I mean a piece was broken off in a way that food gets stuck in it! So if a doctor doesn't even realize such things that's a red flag for me.

Dr.Hur is friendly, accommodating& answers all my questions when I visit. He takes time to explain all procedures that are necessary as well as offer options so that I can give informed consent. The staff is also very considerate. Both my brother& I have him as our dentist.

A am a new patient in this place. I was satisfied with nice warm greeting from front desk. I didn't wait for too long, they take me in 10 minutes from appt time. X-ray went nice and smooth, made me feel comfortable. The docter was pleasant and explain everything to make sure I understand. Highly recomended and should give a try. Thank You

Went for my my bi-annual check up. I was impressed as Dr. Hur took a lot of time explaining the x-rays the girls upfront are always cheerful. Good communication for setting up and reminding appointments. . Only bad news is I have to get a root canal.!!

I went to the doctor four months ago and he claimed that I have a hole and they will send a letter to the insurance company so that we can start the treatment, I waited four months and no one will call until they do. I called, today I went to do the treatment and there was another doctor who claimed that there is no hole at all and it's a problem with the gums and I have to wait another time for them to get approval from the insurance for the treatment she needs to do, in short they wasted my time and money and didn't treat my pain - not recommended and not professional friends beware!! Definitely not recommended!!! I returned home in pain and without treatment.

Update: I have been going to this place for 5 years, doctor has now upgraded his front office staff so things are better again. Update (oct 22) front office staff is great now, we have Ms Usha handling the front office and she is very friendly, patient and accommodating. They also have a great hygeniest on fridays here who gave me the best teeth cleaning experience I have ever had. His name is Sanchiny. Keep up the good work

Exceptional service. I went to a Dentist who told me one of my tooth could not be saved. I then went to Dental Excellence of New York and that same tooth was saved. Wonderful working team and staff. The receptionists are phenomenal .

Dr. Her is very attentive and takes his time to explain every procedure in great lengths. I have never had an issue with him. My only concern at Dental Excellence is the customer service provided by the front desk staff, especially Monique. She was very rude, sarcastic and even hung up the phone. I did express my concerns to the manager of the practice, Margarita, however it didn't seem as though she was interested in hearing what I had to say by her tone. My only suggestion is that they do better at the front as this is not the first encounter I have had.
