This is a nationwide organization that trains people from all walks of life so they can assist first responders in the event of a disaster (such as a tornado or earthquake), allowing the fire department, police officers, and EMTs to perform more complex tasks to help people more efficiently. Dr. Noorda and Valerie joined this group so they would be able to serve Henderson and the surrounding areas right when its needed the most.

Dr. Noorda graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a minor in the Humanities. He then attended the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry, where he earned his DMD with honors and also received the Larry E. Sorum Memorial Award for Excellence in Endodontics. A native of Las Vegas, he currently lives in Henderson and entered private practice here in 1996.
Dr. Noorda has a lifelong passion for learning that didnt end when he finished dental school. Over the decades, he has completed more than 1400 hours of continuing education in all areas of dentistry, including sedation dentistry, dental implants, root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontics.
Dr. Noorda is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which is an honor that only roughly seven percent of dentists achieve. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and holds a Mastership in the College of Sedation Dentistry, which both further cement his dedication to maintaining clinical excellence and staying current with dentistrys latest trends. He additionally served as an Infection Control Inspector for the State of Nevada Board of Dental Examiners, where he worked hard to improve the safety of dental care in Southern Nevada.
Dr. Noorda has a great wife, several fun kids, and a special granddaughter. When he isnt busy caring for teeth, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, going mountain biking, practicing photography, following sports, reading, and keeping up with new developments in science.
Heres an interesting fact about Dr. Noorda you may not know: He speaks Dutch! In fact, when he was at a restaurant once and someone at the nearby table asked the bewildered staff to sing Happy Birthday in Dutch, he stood up and did the job himself, surprising everyone.

Today, as our talented dental office manager, what she enjoys most about her role is getting to work alongside such great team members while also caring for amazing patients. Away from work, Pat and her husband Bill have a grown son named Ryan, a daughter-in-law named Tessa, and two granddaughters named Harper and Reese. Her favorite hobbies include touring on her motorcycle, swimming, playing volleyball, shopping, and going to her granddaughters various events.
Valerie has her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University. She also has extensive training in dental front office administration, medical billing, basic dental assisting, and moderate sedation. Today, she has been working in the field for well over 20 years. What she enjoys most about her job is the wonderful patients! She loves meeting new people here at the dental office and being able to welcome them back again and again.
A Reno native, Valerie has six great kids (including in-laws), one grandkid, a dog, a gecko, and a grand-dog. In her spare time, you can often find her hanging out in the mountains, baking, hiking, exploring alternative routes to familiar destinations, reading, and watching movies.
Heres an interesting fact about Valerie: She is endlessly fascinated by natures variety! Shes been known to collect rocks, hug trees, and gleefully celebrate when she comes across living creatures in the wild.
Born and raised in Henderson, Francesca joined our team in 2019, but her overall career in dentistry covers a full decade so far. She earned her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from the College of Southern Nevada. Today, she loves working for Dr. Noorda because the entire team always has the best interests of the patients in mind and works together well to serve those interests.
Tesia has been a dental hygienist for over a decade so far, and she loves educating patients while also getting to know them on a personal level. She attended the dental hygiene program at Mohave Community College. She is also certified in nitrous oxide and laser dentistry.
Originally from Phoenix, AZ, Tesia is #5 of seven kids total and has a wonderfully huge family. In her spare time away from work, you can often find her hiking, traveling, playing the piano, or simply enjoying music.
Michelles career in dentistry spans well over 30 years so far. What she likes most about her role as an assistant is being able to perform treatments on special needs and highly anxious patients safely through the use of sedation.
Shannon originally hails from New Palestine, IN, and her career in oral healthcare covers 25+ years and counting. She studied at the Walker Career Center and is an EFDA. She never gets tired of helping our patients smile brighter!
