I had a long overdue deep cleaning, root canal/crown, AND fillings within a month. Dr. Thurman, Morgan, Kathy and staff were very attentive and kind with not ONLY the procedures and explanations but with checking up on me after the root canal. Also great at helping me figure out my insurance coverage and payments. Dental Elements is GREAT.

Dr. Thurman was born and raised in beautiful rural Montana. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2007 and has dedicated his professional life to providing his patients with outstanding dental care.
Creating a beautiful smile requires both an artistic eye and technical excellence. Dr. Thurman combines both disciplines to produce a unique result based on your individual characteristics and needs. He believes in patient-centered care in which he works with you to choose the treatment that best suits your goals.
Dr. Thurman is fluent in English and Spanish. His commitment to excellence includes participation in numerous hours of continuing education courses related to dental implants, cutting edge technology and advanced dental techniques.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends, exploring the Rocky Mountains, road biking, traveling, playing pickleball and rooting for local sports teams. He is also passionate about art and design. Some of his favorite artists include Tamina Amadyar, Stephen De Staebler, Thomas Houseago, Huma Bhabha, Sam Gilliam, Antony Gormley and Alberto Giacometti.
I'm very impressed with Dental Elements. Dr. Thurman gives you a wonderful big picture perspective on your mouth, outlining all problems, then gives a detailed picture of how to fix everything, with various options and timelines. The work he and his staff did was superb -- everything is done in house, so no temporary caps or waiting around for outside processing. My mouth wishes I had found Dental Elements years ago!

Yujun speaks fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano, traveling, exercising, and learning new things. She loves her friends, family, and her two little doggies.
Cami was born and raised a Colorado native. She enjoys hiking with her two pups Rocket (husky) and Hunter (Vizsla), checking out antique shops, and exploring what her home state has to offer. If theres a new book store near by, you can bet shes already been there or heard of it!
Cami currently attends full time at Pima Medical Institute of Denver, where she is currently in school for her dental assisting certificate but her goal is to be an expanded duties dental assistant. She believes that knowledge key and loves to learn new things each and everyday.

Yesterday was my procedure and a long one it was. Dr. Thurman is a pro. Because I'm not squeamish he shared what he was doing every step of the way. Most interesting. Great hands and a complete command of the high tech equipment he has at his disposal. His staff is delightful, friendly, helpful and competent. I don't wish a root canal on anyone, but if you need one (or something more prosaic) look no further than Dental Elements.

I was hesitant to write a review because everyone at the office was very friendly but I have seen a couple other low reviews that had the same issue I had so I think it may be a real issue. While I didn't necessarily have a bad experience, I've never felt like I was being upsold at a dentist office the way I felt at Dental Elements. Firstly, they tell you they need a credit card on file for you but didn't tell me until after they handed it back that there's a 48 hour cancellation policy and if you don't cancel an appointment within that 48 hours, they charge you $100 per hour that your appointment was scheduled for. This is an outrageously high cancellation fee, especially considering their cleanings are 2 hours long so if something were to come up and you had to cancel, they charge you $200. I understand needing to have cancellation fees but $100 per hour is robbery and excessive for no reason. Then the dentist, while very nice and thorough, was trying to sell me on procedures that just felt....unnecessary. While there were certainly things that other dentists have told me before, there were also things that no dentist has ever told me I needed to be worried about in my life. I know that dentists try to be more proactive/preventative but I have gone to a lot of dentists in my life and he was bringing up things that I have never been told before and am almost positive if I got a second opinion on, any other dentist would tell me I didn't need to worry about. While the facilities were nice and everyone was extremely friendly, I just didn't feel right when I got home and, upon looking at the lower rated reviews, realized that my concerns were not unfounded.

I've been coming here for several years now, as they offer sedation dentistry. All of the staff are super friendly, Dr. Thurman is very knowledgeable and explains things well, and Cathy is by far the best and most gentle hygienist I've ever experienced.

The whole staff was amazing. I called to schedule a consultation and was able to get in the following week to have 2 of my wisdom teeth extracted. Yujun and Dr. Thurman did an amazing job and was very knowledgeable throughout the whole process.

Dental in Elements came through during an emergency in a way that I don't think any other Dentist office I've ever been to would. They performed an emergency tooth extraction on no notice rescuing me from excruciating pain. The office is state of the art and the doc and his staff are super kind and compassionate...

Dental Elements/Dr. Thurman is BY FAR the best for dental needs. He and his team SAVED ME from such terrible tooth pain. I needed a root canal and crown. I booked a last minute 7am Monday appointment with an hour's notice and the team was ready to go to help me out. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for the team, facility, and expertise! I am in awe that my pain is gone, my tooth is fixed, and it all happened so perfectly in 1 place. The care received is so unbelievably appreciated!

Yujun was very friendly and informative and I knew liked her as soon as she answered the phone! She makes you feel so comfortable, explains what's going on and is a great presence in this amazing clinic. Her and Dr. T are a great team! Received a crown yesterday, and didn't have to wear a temporary (which means another appointment) as Dr. T and team created my new perfect tooth, right in house. If you like a dentist with the latest technology and a knowledgeable staff, this is the place. Parking is a bit tough, but don't let that deter you. Dr. T is a perfectionist and he's the best dentist I've ever had.

No understanding of how to manage personal data. Regular calls and emails to come back, even though I requested to remove my data from their marketing lists. Wondering if medical records are being mismanagement the same way. Poor business practice.

Wonderful experience! I am from out of town and my permanent orthodontic retainer became debonded right before my fiance and I flew into Denver at 9:30am. I was going to wait until we returned home to get it fixed but it was really bothering me when eating, talking etc. I called Dental Elements and they were able to see me within the hour. They were able to properly remove my permanent retainer and provide me with a retainer I can wear at night. The practice is clean, organized, modern, and the staff is very friendly. Dr. Thurman was also very nice and made us feel incredibly welcome during our first few hours in Denver. He is obviously passionate about all of the work he does and we're glad we found this gem of a practice in downtown Denver!
