Dr. Ter started out in dentistry at a young age, choosing to join a dental assisting program when she was just 17. She was eventually trained as a dental hygienist, and worked for a dentist who encouraged her to pursue her dream of going to dentistry school. Today, she believes that the experience she gained at all levels of dentistry has made her a better dentist. It has helped her to understand the needs of patients and how best to customize her care to their life and desires. It has helped her develop a heightened sense of commitment to doing whatever it takes to help you have the healthy, beautiful smile you deserve.

Carol joined Dental Distinctions in 2008 as our Financial and Business Coordinator. Having been in the dental field since 2001, Carol brings a wealth of knowledge with insurance and financial matters extending from dentistry, home health and chiropractic. Dental Distinctions offers Carol the challenges of assisting our patients with the initial treatment plan all the way to completion of their desired goals.
'I welcome our patient 's input to our office and am always available to assist with insurance needs and concerns. If I am unable to immediately answer your questions, I am happy to investigate your questions or direct you in the most effective way.'
Ronda Holman is an Air Force veteran, military trained with 21 years of experience. She has worked in Dental Offices all around the country and abroad, mastering the ability to care and assist with just about every type of dental proceedure. She has assisted within several specialty areas to include: Oral Surgery, Pediatric Dentistry, Fixed Prostodontics, Removable Prostodontics, Endodontics and Routine Restorative care. She is passionate about airway health and helping patients connect signs of an airway disorder to their oral symptoms.
The dental experience has a reputation of stress, anxiety and fear. The best dental assistant helps to inform the pt about his or her needs, creates a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and helps to insure that Dr.Nelson has everything she needs when she needs it. Helping to create the highest quality dental restorations that you may need to have a healthy and beautiful smile. Ronda is known for her sense of humor and bed side manner that is sure to make every patient feel comfortable and relaxed.
Ronda came to the Flathead Valley moving here from Goldsboro NC in 2014. She and her husband BJ, a native to Bigfork, decided to move back to the great state of Montana to raise their two children. Her husband retired from the Air Force flying F15s and now has become part owner and manager of the Kalispell City Airport. Ronda is originally from Chesterfield, Virginia but is now proud to call Big Sky country her home.
Holly is originally from the Flathead Valley and has always been interested in teeth. She loves spending time with her children and giving back to the community any chance she can. She loves getting to know our patients and seeing how excited they are about their smiles after treatment.

They terminated my contract after scheduling me an appointment without my knowledge, and I missed the appointment due to the fact of not knowing. They said they tried contacting me via phone calls and post card but I never received any, however if they tried contacting me with my phone number it would've gone straight to voice message because my phone had broken at the time before I got a new one, and that's why I wasn't aware. (New phone number also so that's another reason I wasn't able to get phone calls from them unfortunately) The last time I was in for an appointment they never scheduled me an appointment so I wasn't sure if I had any business left with them at the time. I've only missed one appointment and find it unfair that they only give you one chance, if not any. If anything they shouldn't schedule appointments until the patient confirms it. I've had a good run until they pulled that, the dental hygienists are very sweet ladies and are good at what they do! But I wouldn't recommend this dental place if you're not able to keep up with their unsure scheduling. Another thing I'd like to add is I'm always on time for my appointments, I really don't like being late for anything, even for work. Being on time doesn't mean you'll get taken care of right away though. Sometimes I'd be waiting a whole hour before I'm actually taken care of which can be very unfortunate when I have things to take care, like bills.

I recently broke a molar, and was dreading a trip to the dentist to get it fixed. Having recently moved from the north fork to Kalispell, I decided to get set up with a new dentist in Kalispell. After reading Dental Distinctions awesome reviews, I decided to make an appointment with them. Not only did they work me into the schedule right away, but I was beyond impressed with all of their staff, it is obvious they truly care about their patients. I really hate going to the dentist, but they made the experience as pleasant as possible, and the work they did to repair my tooth was excellent. This was hands down the most thorough dental exam I've ever had done. I was beyond impressed with their service, professionalism, and knowledge. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist.

While on vacation, I experienced a dental emergency and the staff at Dental Distinctions made time in their busy schedule to see me first thing the next day. For reference, my own dentist in Helena could not see me for 3 weeks! Not only was this far and away the best dental care I have ever received, but the customer service and overall experience at Dental Distinctions was unreal. The staff was attentive, personable and compassionate, and they took time to explain all of my treatment options and the associated costs. They even pulled some strings to get me into an endodontist the following day to re-treat a failing root canal. I can't say enough good things about Dental Distinctions. If you need a dentist, look no further. These ladies are the best!

I love going in to see the crew at Dental Distinctions! I have been going there for years. I saw Janell yesterday and enjoyed (yes enjoyed) getting my teeth cleaned. They all have become like a second family to me. I completely trust what they have to say and appreciate the great dental care!

My first visit was yesterday. Was in a panic due to a broken tooth. Was expecting to wait a couple weeks before I could get it fixed. Not only did they repair it the same day, but I was only there for less than 4 hours! And in that time, I was taken care of by Carol in billing....Who totally took the stress out of that end of it.. and Carrie, the dental assistant, who obviously loves her job very much! She was informative and thorough, and definitely makes you feel at ease. Really enjoyed visiting with her! Last but not least....Dr. Tere, who inflicted no pain, and repaired my tooth within minutes it seemed! Thank you Tere, for being my hero yesterday!! Very much looking forward to my next dental visit! Never in my lifetime did I expect those words to come out of my mouth!!
